Michaela Ennis sighed as she walked down the hallway at Daily's Place, looking for her bosses (and her boyfriend and his brother). She was exhausted, and let out a yawn as she finally arrived at the Elite locker room. She pushed open the door to see both Matt and Nick Jackson, the Young Bucks, pulled up to a laptop, eagerly looking at whatever was on the screen.

"Hey guys," she said. "What's up?" Nick turned around, eyes as big as saucers while Matt slammed the laptop shut.

"Nothing," Nick said quickly, while Matt jumped out of his seat.

"Michaela Jayne, love of my life," Matt said, giving her a quick kiss. "What's up?" Michaela gave her boyfriend a strange look, handing him a stack of papers.

"Here's the papers you asked for," she said, handing them to him as he put his arm lovingly around her, pulling her into his side to hug her. "Everything okay?" She asked.

"Yes," Matt said. "Everything's perfect. You're here." Michaela blushed, as the door slammed open and a flurry of activity came in.

"I'm here! What are your other two wishes?" Charlotte Ennis-Jackson called, causing Nick to beam at her before picking her up and spinning her around, kissing her soundly once he sat her down.

"I missed you," he said.

"I missed you too handsome," Charlotte replied easily. Michaela looked over at her twin sister and her husband, rolling her eyes.

"Get a room you two," Michaela said, making gagging noises. Matt laughed, putting his arm around Michaela, pulling her to him.

"You want to make out and make them sick?" Matt asked, causing Michaela to break out into loud laughter.

"No," she replied, still laughing. "Then we'd be worse than they are."

"Hey!" Charlotte complained. "We're not that bad! Besides, you two are just as bad!"

"No we're not!" Both Matt and Michaela called out in unison.

"They're really not," Nick argued, agreeing with his brother and sister-in-law. "They barely touch. Sometimes I wonder if they really even like each other."

"Oh we don't like each other," Michaela said easily. "I'm just waiting until something better comes along." Matt swatted at her, causing her to giggle as she left the room.

The next day Michaela woke up to an empty place beside of her in bed. It was very unusual for Matt to be awake before her, so she was confused. She could hear soft talking coming from the other room. She couldn't make out what was being said, but she could recognize Matt's voice. She slid out of bed, bare feet padding across the hardwood floor as she headed towards Matt's office, where she was sure his voice was coming from. She saw him sitting behind his desk, talking quietly to someone on his cell phone. The minute he saw Michaela he shut his phone abruptly, jumping up and coming over to her, pulling her into a hug.

"Hey baby," he said. "How did you sleep?"

"Fine," she said, "but I woke up a little lonely." She gave him a strange look. "Who were you talking to?"

"Oh that?" He asked, waving his hand. "I was just talking to Nick. Nothing important. We had some EVP stuff to take care of. That's why I was up so early. I'm sorry I left you alone sugar." Michaela felt her insides melting into goo. Despite her confusion and concern with Matt's strange behavior she could never resist melting any time he called her sugar. And he knew it! She melted into his hug as he held her securely to him. Maybe she was imagining things. He did seem like he was being very secretive about something though. What could it be? He wasn't cheating on her was he? Surely not! She berated herself for even thinking such a thought. But, her subconscious called, what if he was? Surely you don't think he would ever be interested in someone like you long term Michaela! Wake up! He's on his way out! No! The other side yelled. Matt loves you Mikey. He would never do anything to jeopardize that!
