Mizuki Kingdom

Our Mission

      Feeling the wind blow through my hair, the rush of it against my skin gave me a moment of pure bliss and innocence. It allowed me to forget the complications of the kingdom and just escape into my own little world. That never lasted long though. My ears twitched and I sighed "Brother you know I don't approve of you sneaking up on me, personally your not that great when it comes to stealth".
He took a seat beside me and crossed his arms "NO! I'm really good at being stealthy. It is those amazing ears of yours. Wish I could be part fox instead of wolf"
I gave him my usual not amused look " Magnum ....your ears should just be as good as mine....your canine.... " I laughed and looked forward "dork".
He turned away then laughed " Ya, I know".   
" You know Luna has been looking for you Akane" I sighed at those words "I figured, I got injured on my last mission and she always tells me to take care of my wounds but I just ignore it. I heal fast. Besides she's the queen. She doesn't need to be concerned about me.....I don't like to trouble her".
Magnum shook his head and sighed
"Akane you know you guys are just like sisters. I've always thought of her as part of our family". I laughed "I know, I know Magnum it is just you know how I am".
I stood up " So what is the exact reason you came and decided to bothered me" I pinched his cheeks "ow , ow! Let go! ". I let go and he stood up "We have another mission. An escort mission" I smirked. Thank kami, I need this. My tail sorta swayed. Magnum laughed " excited I see". I glared  at him and began to walk away "HEY! WAIT UP AKANE".
I sightly smiled "Hurry up idoit".
    As we made our way to the castle I began to brush my tail. You see I'm part fox and well that means I have a tail and ears, also the very useful heightened senses. The only foxes in the kingdom are me and Luna. People call us the yin and yang duo becauae Luna is well a white fox. My long black hair swayed and my ears twiched as I turned slightly to look at Magnum. Magnum was my brother, but he was my step brother which explains the reason he's part wolf. His fur was blue with a slight mix of black. It made him slightly popular with the ladies.
"Um Akane your eye patch" I touched where my left eye was "Falling off again". He gave me a frown "Why cover it up?".
I sighed "Because having eyes that don't match in color attract attention". My eyes where two different colors. My left was a crimson red while my right was and amber color. "I think it is pretty cool sis. Hey why are they two different colors?".
I paused "Don't worry about it" I gave a rare little smile and sighed as I decide to take the eye patch off "We are here. Let's go meet with Luna" he nodded and followed.
   We walked into the meeting hall and I was personally greeted with a glare. "Akane....why didn't you bandage your wounds." I laughed nervously " No reason".
The guards where surprised with how much emotion I showed and started to whisper. I glared at them and Luna order them out of the room. "It isn't wrong to show some emotion Akane." Luna sighed "Anyhow, you both have a mission".
I smirked "finally" I mumbled. Luna smiled "It will just be you and Magnum.You are to escort the princess of
  Kazuki here so that we may discuss an alliance with them. For....anyhow do your best" I looked at Luna. We stared at each other for awhile. We didn't need to talk to understand each other. There was going to be war. "Why do we need to do this ?" Magnum questioned. I smacked him upside the head "Be happy we get to do something".
I smiled "Well we will go and get ready now" we began to walk out but Luna stopped me " Go ahead Magnum. I'll meet you at home" he nodded and left.
"How's controlling it going Akane, I can tell your kinda...uneasy" I looked back at her "It's going fine. Well I'll be going. Take care. Love ya sis" she went to say something but just decide to tell me she loved me back "Be careful Akane" and with those words l left to catch up with Magnum.

Little did I know that there was going to be a more grand and complicated adventure coming my way.
