Monster/Devil

(A/N: Inspired by "Diary ng Panget: The Movie" but I did a few changes.)

Third Person POV

Why the fuck is so hot? The pale girl asked herself as she fanned her face with beads of sweat started to form on her forehead. Her gaze landed on her bags as she released a deep sigh before carrying them again and started walking towards her new job.

The pale girl was recently kicked out of her apartment since the place was soon to be demolished. But thankfully, she got accepted of being a personal maid and the place where she would be working offers a place to live as well.

At the young age of 14, Dahyun was adopted by her aunt since her parents already died. But she was eventually kicked out at the age of 18 by her aunt because of the reason that's she already grown up to handle herself. Being an orphan was not easy for Dahyun who faced several difficulties in life. She could only be thankful that she easily learned how to handle the challenges.

Dahyun set down the bags again as she felt herself getting tired from walking while carrying those heavy stuffs that she had. Using her handkerchief, she wiped the sweats on her forehead and noticed a car beside her.

A limousine to be exact

Dahyun's mouth went agape at the limo as she stared in amazement but her face soon turned once she saw her haggard face reflecting on the limo's window. She released a sigh before she started combing her hair with her fingers, putting powder on her face, etc.

Meanwhile inside the limo, a Taiwanese girl was scrolling through her social media when she noticed a figure stood outside of the window who's using it as a mirror while fixing herself.

Tzuyu snickered at the sight as she placed her phone beside her.

Is this girl trying to scare me? Tzuyu thought as she lowered the limo's window which startled Dahyun.

"For what I know, Halloween is still a few months away" Tzuyu said as Dahyun raised a brow at her.

"And for your information witch looking girl, this is a limo not a mirror. Thank God my mirror didn't break because of your looks" Tzuyu added as her driver finally went inside before starting the vehicle.

"The limo maybe pretty but the one who's riding it does not have a nice personality" Dahyun snapped back as Tzuyu glared at her. The Taiwanese girl didn't get a chance to respond when the car started moving.

Oh no, I'm not done with you yet. Tzuyu thought before picking up an empty paper cup beside her as Dahyun started teasing her

"NYENYENYENYE~" Dahyun teased as Tzuyu peeked outside the window and threw the cup straight at Dahyun's face. The car slowly fade away from Dahyun's sight but the pale girl didn't miss how Tzuyu stuck her tongue out at her.

"OUCH, THIS MOTHEFUCKER!" Dahyun shouted and was ready to run after the car that's already far from her but stopped her actions after noticing other people were weirdly looking at her. Dahyun cleared her throat and fixed her composure before picking up her bags to go to her new job.

*Timeskip*

"Ms. Kim?" Dahyun got surprised when she suddenly heard someone call her name as she stood there outside the mansion's gate.

"Yes, I'm Kim Dahyun" Dahyun said as the person nodded.

"I'm Jihyo, the head of the maids. Mr. Chou is already waiting for you" Jihyo said and ushered the guards to open the gate as Dahyun gripped the strap of her bag, feeling a little anxious to meet her new boss.

"I hope you'd stay long" Jihyo said once they entered the mansion as Dahyun's eyebrows furrowed in confusion

"I didn't quite catch that Ms. Jihyo" Dahyun said as Jihyo turned around to face her.

"I hope you'd stay long" Jihyo repeated which caused Dahyun to grow more confused.

"Why?" Dahyun asked as Jihyo was about to speak when Mr. Chou suddenly came.

"20 have already resigned before you Ms. Kim" Mr.Chou said as Dahyun bowed as greeting.

"May I know the reason sir" Dahyun politely asked as Mr. Chou sighed.

"My daughter is a difficult person. You have to be responsible for all her needs and make sure that she attends her class." Mr. Chou said as Dahyun smiled

"That would be an easy job for me sir" Dahyun said, Mr. Chou shook his head.

"Not really" Mr. Chou said as Dahyun raised both of her eyebrows as if asking Mr. Chou what he means.

"My daughter is a human but also, she is a half monster" Mr. Chou said as the mansion workers around the area started laughing along with Jihyo. Mr. Chou all gave them a look which caused all of them to stop laughing as Jihyo bit the inside of her cheeks to suppress a smile.

"Monster, a literal monster? Oh my gosh Mr. Chou, I don't think I can do this" Dahyun said and was about to leave when Mr. Chou suddenly spoke.

"25,000 basic salary with benefits including board and lodging" Dahyun stopped at his statement and immediately turned around. Her face lit up as she raised her bags.

"Like I said sir, this would probably be an easy job and I also brought my clothes with m--" Dahyun beamed as Jihyo raised her hand to stop her from speaking. Mr. Chou went inside while Jihyo told the guards to take Dahyun's stuff to her room before they both followed after.

Mr. Chou was explaining a few things to Dahyun about her daughter when a shout was suddenly heard.

"MOVE FASTER!" the both of them snapped their heads at where the shout was coming from, only to see a Taiwanese girl scolding one of the maids. Dahyun's eyes widen when she recognized who the girl was.

Motherfucker.

"Tzuyu!" Mr. Chou said as Tzuyu looked at her father before rolling her eyes.

"What do you want now old toothless fart?" Tzuyu asked while walking towards her father.

"You don't have to be rude" Mr. Chou said as Dahyun nodded in agreement.

"He's right!" Dahyun spoke which caught Tzuyu's attention who looked at her. The tall girl squinted her eyes as if trying to remember if she have seen this girl before. When she finally remembered who the girl was, she let out a chuckle.

"It's you again" Tzuyu said as Mr. Chou spoke.

"This is Kim Dahyun, she will be your personal maid Tzuyu" Mr. Chou introduced as Tzuyu and Dahyun looked at him in disbelief.

Doesn't he have any other children? Not this Monster/Devil please. Dahyun thought

"This girl would be my maid? The one who would always follow me anywhere?" Tzuyu asked as Mr. Chou nodded while Dahyun rolled her eyes.

"What's your problem?" Dahyun asked as Tzuyu glared at her. Mr. Chou watched them in amusement because it seems like Tzuyu finally found her match.

"You know what, I don't want to talk to you anymore so GET OUT!" Tzuyu shouted as Dahyun just crossed her arms.

"Tzuyu!" Mr. Chou warned but it seems like his daughter didn't hear him.

"I don't want to see that ugly face of yours when I get back" Tzuyu said before turning around to leave.

"See what I mean?" Mr. Chou asked as Dahyun uncrossed her arms and nodded before releasing a deep breath she didn't know that she was holding.

"Yes sir" Dahyun said as Mr. Chou smiled and glanced at his watch.

"I'll be taking my leave now since I have a meeting." Mr. Chou said as he fixed the creases on his suit.

"You should take a rest for now. Good luck in taking care of my daughter, I hope you'd stay long" He added as Dahyun bowed before Mr. Chou finally left.

Time to deal with this Monster/Devil
