Two days later:

Later that night. Man, I have a lot of homework. A better start it now. Before it gets to late. I put my iPad next to my mirror on a drawer. Then suddenly, RRRrrring!!! I looked over at my desk and my phone was ringing. It was an unknown number so I ended it. I went back to doing my homework, a math sheet. 5+17-I got cut off by my phone ringing again. Same number.
"Hello?" I say. " Is this Grace?" I reconize the voice at last. Shocked, I can't speak. "Hello? Are you there?" "H-hi"I say. " Is this Grace?". I don't now what to say. "Yes. Who is this?" I ask even though I know. "It's me, Jake." He says. " Hello there." I say. " sorry to call you unexpected, but I was wondering if you are free on Friday." He asks shyly. " uh, yeah sure." I pause. " where do you want to go?" " Lagoon beach. I will pick you up if you want. It's only a 5 minute walk." " Alright let me ask my mom real quick"
I get off my bed and head downstairs to the kitchen with my phone. I see my mom cooking dinner. " mom." She turns around quickly. " Damn, Grace. You scared me. What?" She says shakily. " Oh sorry. I was just wondering if I could go to Lagoon beach on Friday. With my friend. Without you." She looks at me curious. " With who?" We stand there for a minute in silence. She turns back to stiring the rice. " A new friend. A boy." She turns to me with a smirk on her face. "Sure you can go. Don't stay too late though." I sigh great fully. " Thanks, mom." I hug her. " No problem. Do you like him.?" "I don't know. I think so."
BTW, sorry for not writing a lot. Forgive me. But I want to do some shoutouts to some of my beloved friends. I am going to shout out, first of all my great beautiful friend, idk_littlefishy . She is awesome and one of my best friends. Next, I would like to shoutout Idk_BulldogCheeks . She is one of my good friends also. Got dem bulldog cheekiness. Next, I would like to shoutout Courtney_The_Awesome . She has helped me write one of my books, (not). Next, I WOULD like to shoutout someone else but they are annoying me, so that's not happening.
