Summer Happiness

My happiness dies with the fireflies

My heart stops with the heat

Summer days are in my eyes,

And they fly by when I blink.

As cold comes near,

My love turns to fear,

When frost nips my nose

I know my heart already froze.

My Angels sing.

I'm asked why quit here,

When fireflies glow 'round the corner?

When heat beings to melt

My icy heart full of fear?

Summer days have come once more,

Love is home at long last.
