A romance started on discord.

Where it all started...

On a late afternoon, Gary scrolls through the many servers he joined attempting to find a boyfriend, but to no avail. Then, he gets a DM from someone named XX_Little Chick_XX, and that's  where it all starts... 

I think "Who the hell is this? Their name is so... embarrassing." I still click on it, confused, and then I see the words, "Hello, I saw your posts on the dating server and I was interested."

I immediately got tingles in my chest, I was overwelled with joy after looking for a boyfriend for so long.

I reply with "Hey!! You can call me Gary." My username was Bottybeater; it was meant to be Booty Beater but I couldn't change it. 

He says that I can call him Chick and that's what his friends call him. We spent that afternoon, and the majority of the night getting to know each other. When he finally had to get off I went to bed with tingles all over, and I just knew that I fell for him already.

I woke up the next morning, happy as I could ever be. I took a warm shower, then I had toast for breakfast and orange juice. When I was done with my morning routine I got on discord and said "Good morning Chick, are you up yet?" I asked him this knowing he was online but last night he told me he leaves his computer running overnight.

"Yeah... I just woke up... I'm still tired though." I was so happy that he replied, normally when someone responds to my messages on the discord servers they just stop talking to me after one night.

"Oh.. ok then, I'll wait for you to wake up."

"Mk, I'll be right there..." It was only 5 minutes but I was already worried that he would leave me, I DM him asking him if he's okay, he doesn't reply, so I wait, and 10 minutes later he replies "I'm sorry I took so long, I hadn't even gotten out of bed when you texted me the first time.." 

"That's fine" I reply, even though it wasn't, I was so worried that he would just leave me and never talk to me again like everybody else did, I almost couldn't bear it.

"So... last night you said you had Minecraft," He starts "do you wanna play some, Gary?"

"Yeah!! Sure!! Do you wanna VC?" I ask "Yeah that'd be great!" He says.

I click the call button and when he joins he says "Hey, Gary" His voice was so light and beautiful, my face got hot.

"H-hey..." I say trying not to sound embarrassed but to be honest, I was the most embarrassed and scarred as I've ever been before. What if I said something wrong and he didn't like me anymore or never talks to me again. I worry for the entire time I played Minecraft that morning.

I think we both enjoyed it, I know I did. But by far the best thing I figured out was that we went to the same school, since tomorrow is Monday we decided to meet up at lunch.

I get off the bus and walk up to the school, joy fills me as I can't wait to see Chick in real life, I wonder what he looks like, he told me that he's part chicken, and since I've never dated a part animal in my life I was curious. 

My friend Grey is just a normal human, and Jay is part rat, so I have some experience with animal people but I've never actually dated one, I asked Grey out and he just declined me, and I'm not interested in Jay.

I sat through my first couple of classes impatiently wanting to meet Chick, he told me to call him Chicken Little at school because that's his real name. Finally, lunch comes after what felt like a few days of waiting, he told me to expect him to have white feathers and a red comb. 

I search for him and I see a half chicken sitting at the lunch table, I begin to approach Chicken Little...
