Carly's POV
Kyra punches me in the stomach and I drench her in water. She laughs and runs away and I chase her. "What are you kids doing!?"yells Gretta angrily. Greta and David are our keepers. Greta is a mean old lady. While David is the nicest sweetest old man ever. But David always has to work so we stuck with Greta all the time. So enough with there backstory. We are chasing each other Hannah is breaking stuff on the porch(power of strength), Emma is growing vines around the house(power of earth), Kyra (power of fire) is fighting with me(power of water), Kenzie is just kind of flying around(flight). We always mess with Greta with our powers since she only has the power of care taking. But soon we will turn 13 so we can choose our own suburbs to live in and leave Greta. We all promise to live in the same suburb.
AUTHOR'S NOTE--------------in this society charms are made and given to a select few of children at birth and they unlock your powers so we can become one of the members. Carly, Kyra, Hannah, Kenzie, and Emma all have this ability. So does Greta. This is my first book so please don't hate.
