Thank you

Lilly looked out on the blue ocean.
The water had never looked so blue as it did that night.
Her favorite white dress hugged all her curves just right. The material felt like nothing on her skin. It was dragging slightly in the sand. Her hair actually kept its curl for once in her life, and she was barefoot on a beach with white sand.
She could hear the party going on in the beach house a few yards back. Everyone was laughing, dancing. All of the then enjoying themselves. She didn't want to have them worry about her on such a wonderful night.
In fact she didn't want anyone to worry about her anymore.
No one did anyhow. Her parents didn't. They were having to much fun pretending she didn't exist. She had only one friend, her best friend, and he ,Logan, was occupied with his girlfriend all the time now.
She had no one.
"No one will care." She said aloud to herself.
She walked onto the wet sand. The waves washed over her feet.
Her body shivered from the coldness.
The waves continued to wash over her feet. The end of her dress becoming drenched.
She turned around one last time.
No one saw her.
No one cared.
She then realized, if they don't care why should I?
She walked in the water, her ankles covered within the first steps.
Soon her knees.
Water was up to her thighs.
Then stomach.
Soon nothing was dry but her head.
She closed her eyes.
"Sorry." She whispered to Logan, though she knew he couldn't hear her.
Soon there was nothing but water around her.


She opened her eyes. It was so blue. Everything was beautiful. Nothing hurt anymore.
She smiled, water rushing into her mouth. Her smile simply widened more.
No more pain. No more pain.
Her lungs burned, begging for air. This was something she simply couldn't give them though. Her chest seemed to collapse upon itself.
She closed her eyes.
It was sad, but it was wonderful. It was depressing, but up building.
Her lungs finally gave out.
