Abhi wakes up panting heavily... His heartbeat suddenly rose high and he could feel his heart aching.
Abhi's POV
"Was this all a dream? Or did it happened in my life?"
I couldn't understand what was happening. My mind was filled with tons of questions but the difficult part was, I didn't know whom to reach out for these answers.
I could feel my head aching so I quickly went to the rooftop, as it was the only place I could find some peace.
Author's POV
While everyone in his family was busy with their works, Abhi goes to the rooftop. Abhi's sister enters his room and panics as she couldn't find him there. She informs her mother about it. Her mom quickly enters Abhi's room and starts worrying as she didn't find him in his room.
Ritu observes everything and goes to the rooftop as she knew she could find him there.
She enters the rooftop and finds Abhi sitting in a corner. Abhi looks at her with an emotionless face. She goes to Abhi's home and informs his mother that she found him there.
His mom quickly goes to the rooftop worrying about her son.
Abhi observes his mom approaching him.
She looks at Abhi with a shabby face.
Abhi- Mom, what happened to me? Why don't I remember anything that happened till now? Why do I feel something is wrong with me?
His mom slowly pats his head and replies with a weak smile.
Mom- Nothing dear. You are perfectly fine. I guess you just had a nightmare. Go and take a rest.
Abhi gets back to his home feeling completely lost.
After some time
Abhi's sister- Mom, how long will this continue?
Mom- We can't help dear. We have to do this until he recovers completely.
Ritu's POV
I observed him sleeping peacefully but deep down there, I know what he has been through. I couldn't stop the tears rolling down my eyes.
"It's all because of me. He had to go through so much because of me."
Author's POV
Saying that Ritu quickly ran to her house. She said those words out which have been hurting her for a long time, thinking Abhi was sleeping but she didn't observe that he was awake all this time.
Abhi gets dressed quickly and makes his way out.
While leaving, he glanced at Ritu's window and something caught his attention, it was a red color diary.
