Milia stares at the screen in front of her as the curser flashes and teases her. Almost mocking her for her creative block. It dares her to write any word. Just to start

Milia reaches forward and slams the laptop shut. She pushes out of the chair sat beneath her and the sound of the wood scraping on the floor echos throughout the room.

Oliver springs to attention after laying lazily on the bed for the majority of the day. He truely took the word 'vacation' and lived out the definition. Milia was jealous that he could relax and had no responsibilities in that moment whereas Milia's career, the path she chose, was self motivated.

Milia was overwhelmed with stress and irritable at the idea of writing but she wasn't ready to give up on it.

Milia sighed and got to her feet. She raised her hands above her head and stretched out her discomfort. She looked out on the afternoon sky and saw the sun glisten on the water inviting her in for the second time today. She walked over to the bed and pulled Oliver up to his feet. He groaned in frustration.

"come on, we're going for a swim" Oliver groaned with every step he took until they were back down to the bottom of the stairs. Lily and Antonio were sat comfortably reading in the lounge room soaking up the afternoon sun before it set.

"We're are you guys going?" Lily said as she brought down her glasses to the tip of her nose to look at the couple.

"Going for a swim." Milia called back to her parents as she pulled Oliver by his stretched arm.

"Milia, don't forget we have guests coming so make sure you're back in at least two hours" Lily yelled out as her daughter slipped out of the house. As soon as Milia inhaled the air from outside she felt instantly relaxed. The warm sun was still beaming down on their skin and it warmed everything in Milia's body.

"who's the guests?" Oliver asked while still being lead by Milia down the familiar stone steps.

"I have no clue. It's supposed to be a surprise apparently." Oliver smiled at the girl and in no time the two were running towards the blue ocean. The two splashed water at each other and dived under the oncoming waves. Milia dove down and reached for a chunk of seaweed that had been rolling around on the sand under the water. She dove up and saw Oliver facing the opposite direction and chucked the seaweed at his back. As soon as the vegetation made contact with his skin the slap echoed loudly and Milia couldn't help but laugh. Oliver on the other hand was not happy and peeled the green sludge off his back and dropped it down next to him.

"what was that for?" He asked seriously. Milia just laughed at his reaction.

"Come onnn, It's funny. lighten up a little bit." Oliver just rolled his eyes and went back to diving under the waves. Milia ignored him and eventually he swam back to the shore and sat on the lounge chair.
