"Then show," It spills out like a secret and Irene almost regrets it until Alice is smirking, and leaning in.
"Hey! You guys practically left the rest of the party-" Irene's incredibly fast when she pins Alice onto the couch and stands up on the floor. It's Raymond, of all people.
"That hurt," Alice says from behind Irene.
"What just-"
"We were messing around, nothing serious. Alice is just stupid and was trying to tell me something but I couldn't hear her and-"
Raymond rolls his eyes and clears his throat. "Y'know what? I think I'm just going to stay out of that one. It's clear I came in at the wrong time."
"Yes," Irene and Alice say in unison. Alice is standing up now, straightening out her skirt and hair.
"Would you guys like to join the rest of the party?" Raymond asks, pointing behind him with his thumb.
Alice is very much staring into Irene's side, but Irene refuses eye contact. She doesn't want Raymond to think anything was between them. Well, even Irene can admit there's something but she doesn't know what to call it.
"What are they even doing anyway?" Alice asks, turning back to Raymond. Irene breathes easy.
Raymond shrugs, "Not sure, I think they were gonna play truth or dare, some party game. They thought you guys would like that," He says, scratching the back of his neck and leaning on one leg.
Alice laughs, "What, cause we're high schoolers? We're seniors, nobody does that anymore," She uttered, giving a more than familiar side glance to Irene.
We did, we did that.
Alice is definitely saying it on purpose, for reasons Irene might not know but it's fun and mysterious.
"Yeah well, you guys should play anyway. It'll be fun," Irene looks to Alice, ultimately putting their faith in her hands. There's no way she'll agree anyway-
"Sure, why not."
Irene feels Alice's eyes practically smirk at her, along with the rest of her face.

"This is Irene, and this is Alice, they go to my high school, their seniors but they're chill," Raymond explains as Irene and Alice sit in the sort of circle that's been formed in the real living room. There looks to about be 5 other people that are playing. So not a lot of attention will be put on them.
One of the blonde girls in the circle rolls her eyes, "I can't believe we're doing this," She grunts out.
"Dude, just don't play," One of the guys from the couch says, which earns a scowl from blondie.
"You really think I'd miss out on a drinking game?" She defends as she takes a sip from her cup. She has side bangs that she's wearing a baseball cap over. She has heavily winged eyeliner and a hoodie and leggings. Irene can't tell if she'd be the person to bully her or get bullied in school.
