Prologue: What Is that?

Hya's POV

Hi! I'm Hya Evans, and I'm 4 years old. I've always dreamed of  becoming a hero. I've always wanted to become like All Might, with a smile on my face! 

Anyways, back at the present, I was in my bedroom, looking out of my window, it seems really peaceful today. Then I went downstairs, then saw both my parents talking about something. Yesterday, me and my parents went to hospital. 

And that's where I found out I was Quirkless. I couldn't believe that I was Quirkless, it felt like my dream's about to crumble, but that won't stop me. My mom Alexandra's Quirk is Ice and my dad Steven's Quirk is Electricity and also he's the professor in I-Island.

"Hi guys!" I said

"Oh hi, Hya." My mom said with a smile.

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked

"Oh, that was nothing, nothing important." Dad said

"Oh, okay. Um, can I go outside?"

"Sure Hya." Mom said

"Just be careful, okay?" Dad said

"Okay." I said and went outside with a phone and earbuds in hand. And actually, it was kinda my own phone.

I was listening 'Something Just Like This' by The Chainsmoker, it's my favorite song.

~Time Skip - November 15~

Third Person's POV

Today is November 15, Hya became 5 years old and her sister became 4 years old, Alex was also Quirkless like Hya, Alex wanted to become a inventor like their father. The two were in running out of the school and it's raining hard.

"Nee-san, I'm cold..." Alex said to her older sister Hya.

"Wait a minute, hold on." She said getting the umbrella but it broke

"Oh come on!" Hya complained

"Nee, Nee-san, over there!" Alex said and pointed at the tree.

"Alright, good job Alex, come on!" Hya said, and the girls ran over to the tree for cover

"Man, the weather forecaster never told that there's gonna be a storm, right Nee-san?" Alex said

"Yeah, it was..." Hya agreed

"Nee, I wonder if mom's gonna make us some soup."

"Hm, I wonder too." Hya said and imagining herself wearing pajamas and they ate soup together.

"Oh yeah, now I want some." Hya said

"Girls! Where are you?!" They heard their father calling them out

"Dad, we're over here!" Hya yelled.

"C'mon Alex!" Hya said and they ran over to their father, who was a professor from I-Island.

~Time Skip~

The twins made it back home safely with their father.

"Hey mom, we're home--!" Hya stopped talking as she saw her mother glued her eyes on the TV.

"Hey mom." She called her out again and her mother finally looked at her

"Oh hey, you two, glad you girls made it safe. But you two are soaking wet! Go take a shower you two before you catch a cold." Her mother said

After they're done shower, they saw the news their mother was watching

"What did the news said Mom?" Hya asked "Well it's--" But she was interrupted by the TV

"These monster like creatures are spotted roaming in all places, in water, land and air. It had said to be attacking humans and eating crops, it appears that these strange looking creatures have Quirks."

"Many believe that it's a doing of a villains, the scientists and the pro heroes are still finding out more plausible excuse for such sighting. From now, these creatures are believe to be threat to humans."

In the screen, they showed pictures of the creatures, some are blurred and not taken properly. Hya look a closer to see dark purple creature with roundish body is standing in between the trees, it's eyes glowed red and it appears it has a wide creepy smile.

Another picture was shown. A picture of a narrowed street with more monsters standing in the corner. Bunch of photos is shown and Hya noticed that they're in different shape and sizes. Their backs facing the camera, staring in disbelief when she saw a blue walking turtle.

And the last photo, is located in the farm with pumpkins that was being eaten by bunch of rats, but if you look closely, it doesn't look like a normal rat.

"If they're gonna show some pics, they should've given us a more clear picture than a blurred ones, who knows it might be photoshopped or an illusion from someone's Quirk." Her little sister complained and only to be shushed by their mother. 

"This is serious, Alex! These creatures might be real... And dangerous!"

"If I wasn't on a short break from work, I would have get to the bottom of this." Hya's father said.

Hya watched in interest when the video footage is played. A video of a thunderstorm, and something flying above it. 

She can't distinguish what it looks like but base on it's silhouette of a bird like creature, it's wings and tail are a mass of spiky feathers and a large crest of spiked feathers surrounded it's head.

What happened in the video was something unexpected, the creature flaps it's wings and releases electricity that cause thunderstorm. 

"W-Woah, It did that?! Scary..." Her little sister exclaimed.

Scary? Hya doesn't feel frightened at all, in fact she watched the video in awe. Her heart was beating with excitement when she saw a bird surround by sparks and the thunderstorm makes even cooler. She felt like she's watching her favorite hero, but except it's different. She felt interested in the monsters like creatures.

'Creatures with Quirks... Sugoi!'

She was about to tell her little sister what she feels but the female news caster stop her from doing so.

"The Pro Heroes is going to deal with these monster like creatures, for now we all advise everyone to stay indoors especially children and be alert of your surroundings until further notice, I repeat, stay indoors especially children and be alert of your surroundings until further no-"

The TV blacked out, including the lights and electronics. There was a power outage due to the raging storm.
