|A WEEK LATER - 15TH DECEMBER|

"The weekends are the best." 

"Mhm."

"Don't sleep on me, Jungkook." Taehyung pouted, slightly shaking the younger who laid beside him on their bed.

"I'm not sleeping, love." Jungkook groggily whispered, his eyes barely open as his arm around Taehyung loosened its grip.

Taehyung wanted to frown, but Jungkook looked and sounded so cute, he couldn't help but giggle. And when he saw Jungkook's lip turn into a soft smile on listening to his laughter, he couldn't resist his grin from growing even wider.

He kissed the tip of Jungkook's nose, whispering, "You were supposed to spend time with me, honey. Not sleep."

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, looking at Taehyung with a fond smile, "I know. I'm sorry, baby. I'm just so tired."

"It's fine, you can nap in the afternoon. But it's 11 a.m. right now, so we should really get up."

Jungkook shook his head, "Hell nah."

"What?" Taehyung chuckled.

"Either you let me sleep, or you let me cuddle you. I'm not getting out of bed."

"Is this because you don't want to leave the bed? Or because you wanna stay with me?"

"Stay with you, obviously." He flashed his bunny smile, tightening his hold around Taehyung and pulling him closer once again.

"Babe, sleep or cuddle me in the afternoon. I wanna bathe now."

"We won't be free in the afternoon, hon."

"Why?"

"Today is the day." Jungkook winked.

Taehyung let out a small gasp, "It's been a week already?"

"Yes."

"Did you text Chim yet?" The older asked, his shocked expression turning into a sly smirk.

"No, I'll do it once we get up."

"Okay."

"But for now, come here and don't speak so I can silently hold you."

"What? No. You're just gonna sleep if we stay quiet."

"Mhm. That's the point."

Taehyung opened his mouth to protest but chuckled and shook his head instead when he noticed how peaceful Jungkook looked. He gave in and let his head rest against Jungkook's chest as he dozed off himself.
