an overpass is just a bridge
to the river of cars
that flows underneath
and my my how fast they are-
so eager to flow.

tick-it's time to go
tock-oh, time will never slow
tick-this is hectic.

time is tricky and
time is always on the run-
you'll ruin your sneakers
trying to beat it at
it's own game of speed-
trying to manage is fun
but living in the moment;
that will save you from
s t r e s s i n g .
