an: doing the author note first cause it's been a while aha. I was sick from September till like early December so yeah I wasn't able to work on any book updates :( I'm feeling better now I think, hopefully 🙏🏼.

Hoseok's eyes closed as he thought back to their family dinner.

"Awh you two look lovely" Jungkook's mother smiled softly seeing them enter and didn't hesitate to bring the two in a hug.

The couple hugged her back before she pulled away to place one hand on Jungkook's cheek and the other on Hoseok's, causing the two boys to be surprised.

"Mother?" Frowning at the action he questioned her but she only gave a soft smile in response before sitting back next to her husband.

"Come sit." Hoseok's mother spoke with a similar soft smile adorning her face.

Gazing over the table Hoseok saw that both their parents were indeed present along with Yoongi. Seeing them all in one place Hoseok couldn't help but gulp as he followed the taller male's lead to their table.

"Is everything okay?" Jungkook asked as the couple took their seats.

"Yes son. How about we eat before discussing things?" Jungkook's father more so decided rather then suggesting.

Nodding in response Jungkook turned his gaze towards the orange haired's father.

"I hope Hoseok has adapted well to being back?" Hearing his father Hoseok anxiously played with the ring adorning his finger.

"I have father." Hoseok mustered the courage to respond even though he knew he was talking to Jungkook but, if the time spent with Taehyung taught him anything, it was to respect himself more.

"That answer worries me a little." Mr Jung laughed lightly but Hoseok saw the daggers glaring down behind that facade.

"Don't be Mr Jung. Your son has been splendid, he's given me no issues." Jungkook tactfully clasped their hands together before bringing their held hands up to his lips to kiss softly "isn't that right baby?"

"Absolutely." Hoseok said monotonously.

Being fooled by that facade Hoseok's father had a bright smile on his face "that's amazing to hear."

From then the conversation changed to small talk till their waiter arrived. Hearing Jungkook finish his order Hoseok was about to start his till he heard Jungkook "what would you like baby?"

Hoseok was definitely not expecting that, the raven haired was pulling out all the stops to make it look like they were a happy couple.

"This please." The orange haired pointed to a meal which Jungkook ordered for him.

"Ah that was delicious, I can't wait for dessert." Jungkook's father sighed in content. One hand rubbing his bloated stomach.

"Father, now will you tell us what the announcement is about?" Yoongi asked in behalf of the supposed couple.

"Ah yes, as you know we have multiple businesses that are in different industries. However we're not the strongest in the legal sector." Jungkook's father started. "Last week one of our competitor in that industry, Shin & Gray, combined with Han's Attorneys. This puts us at a huge disadvantage regarding gaining customers and politically, as they already hold a lot of power alone."
