MORNING already came as the orange hue ray of sunlight was dominating the whole vicinity which signifies everyone to start the day with a smile and head off to their own destination.
From the glass window he sought just a few meters away, he could see a flock of pigeons flew proudly as they took the same path to call their other companions out from its shelters. That made the canadian male smile as he heard the school bell rang from the distance.
Nothing new. Same routine.
He traipsed with large skips through the hallways and he just noticed that every student he passed was holding blocks of books or personal kits to start the busy hours, unlike him... just his favorite knapsack hang over his shoulder with his hands were hidden inside his jagger's pockets. He was just watching the other students shuffled on their heels in a rush which didn't surprise him anymore.
Minding himself to be quick as possible before his professor caught him late, the canadian male named Mark jumped over the banister and blessed the stairs with his heavy footsteps.
' I still can make it ' Mark mumbled under his breath after glancing down to his wristwatch, learning he only had two more minutes for his little voyage.
Not too long after, when the view of the classroom for his first schedule welcome his sight. He shunned a long sigh when only three students including only left in the almost empty hallway, signaling the first class has already started. Mark then shortened the gap until he reached his destination and small black sign reading N-3 was placed at the top of the doorway indicated that he was at the right place.
He was about to knock when he heard a muffled noise from the other side of the barrier and an idea ricocheted across his head. Without any warnings, he walked into the classroom and he noticed that everyone fell silent at his sudden arrival.
' it's just our canada boy ' one of his classmates spoke out and greeted him with a fist bump gesture they usually do.
' Mr. Liang? ' Mark asked, wandering his eyes around the spacious amphitheater and he didn't spot any familiar figure of their professor.
' can't see him and I don't care ' the taller male named Johnny responded which made the latter chuckled at that remark.
After exchanging another short conversation with their friends, Mark then took his usual seat in the back. He carefully stretched his limbs to lessen the tension on his muscle as he escaped another yawn. Some of his classmates acknowledged his presence and tried to initiate a conversation with him but he was not in the mood to talk with girls who only wanted to get his number and his ass.
He just politely dismissed them and plugged his earphones with maximum volume. He even caught Johnny and their friend Jaehyun gave him a teasing look but he just snorted in response.
The classroom was a wide amphitheater that amplified everyone's noise within the four walls of the entire room. Their voices slowly became distant when the first track of his favorite boy band played into tune. He lowly hummed along with the melody and placed his chin under the prompting hand.
At the end of the cold rain, on the blue sky
I look at the rainbow light that is particularly clear
In the midst of a pause in time
There are seven lights smiling in a circle
It's like a bookmark I place in my heartThe canadian male rove his gaze around the area from the rows of seats sloping upwards, the wide walls were usually used for the diagrams, posters, and rules, the long connected white desk tables, the ticking clock at the top of the whiteboard, the little chitchatting echoed faintly to his ears, how his classmates grouped themselves with their friends until something that finally made him drowned enthralled.
