"Why don't we make an agreement, eh?"I could see the shock on her face. She wasn't too sure of what I was going to say. "What agreement?"
She asked curiously. I alleged, "I will go to the academy but on one condition... You have to frequently come visit me there! After all, you won't be so far away after you go to your mother's...!"She couldn't agree less. She had to. Otherwise I'm not going there. I'll stay put to my words. I could see her deep in thought. And she gave a little nod. "Ok. If that's what'll make you go there, then I'll agree and I won't mind to come and meet you in a while." She smiled.
I suddenly felt chills down my spine. Did I take the wrong step?
*** (Xan's POV)
Haha. I still couldn't belive her agreement was as simple as that. Even if she hadn't said that I'd of course come and meet her. She has a lot to learn. Her magic is powerful and she has to learn how to control it. This academy explains how to in different perspectives so all children understand the in-depth concepts. That's why I was so persistent on making her go there. Even god is with me, no one can stop me.

I kept thinking of how from today onwards my life is gonna change. From early days I was good at things and didn't need a tutor to guide me, not tryna boast. But now it's different. I'll be going to hell (not really), meeting pests (humans particularly), dying (studying, magic primarily), and leaving this planet (starting a new life meaning, becoming different).
I hesitantly go to my wardrobe and came to the conclusion to start packing because I will have to leave tomorrow. Wow. Not much or I say, quite a lot. Wait a minute. Didn't the letter say I didn't have to bring anything? Eh? No. I'll atleast carry something. Like my pepper spray, a fake gun, my candies and sweets, and of course my bracelet. These are all my necessities. They are for my safety.
But I'll have to say no. Who knows I might end up in jail- Well not really... But I will carry my candies & sweets and of course my bracelet. Something very precious. I went down to my basement. Ugh. So dusty. Haven't cleaned in a while looks like. I grab my mini bag. It's a small, black bag, which has some barely visible designs. I use it for short travels or long, but this time it's almost a lifetime. (Just 2 academic years and that's all)
I kept the last thing in my bag which was my diary. It was closely guarded. No one can read it except me. I went to sleep early because I was really tired. I just hoped that everything will go okay tomorrow.

I could hear a voice. Actually two. I woke up and peeped out of my window. *Sigh* It was the bus to the academy. How I knew it? Oh don't you ask! The name was clearly carved in bold and cursive font on the bus. But I'll agree, it was beautiful to look at. I rushed inside my bathroom and quickly did whatever I could. I changed into a purple hoodie and black jeans. I wore a pair of purple shoes with it.
I grabbed my bag and hurried down the stairs and in the garden to the main door. When was this house so big? I didn't have time to think. I saw my nanny talking to a flying priest. I reckoned it was the bus driver, lol? I gave my goodbyes to Xan and went inside the bus. I will miss this house, I did spend 90% of my life in it.
As I hoped on the bus, it was fairly big. But there was no one. I felt relieved. Phew. I didn't want to spend the day talking with annoying people (but they aren't). The bus wasn't actually moving on wheels. It was flying! Wow. But I'll agree it was too empty. I missed nanny! ...Atleast I could spend the rest of the time alone before the real show begins...

I think I dozed off a bit. Because I didn't notice that we were almost there. The streets were very busy. Too crowdy, I thought. The people were buying things which seemed to be gifts. Probably for the ones who got selected for the academy. Or maybe it's always just like this. I don't know cuz' I never came here or atleast that's what I think.
I couldn't help but think that the next 2 years of my life will go in vain. I sighed and looked out of my window again. The city was full of hustle and bustle. It was neither noisy nor calm. Probably the best kind of environment for an ambivert.
The bus stopped and I presumed I had finally reached my destination... I got off the bus and thanked the driver. I atleast have that much manners. The bus then disappeared, weird. I flew towards the gateway of the academy. I don't usually fly but oh well..
I was in front of the gateway to the academy. I couldn't believe what I saw next!
A/N: Hey! Lol, I try to make my chapters smaller but what can I do ¯\(°_o)/¯ Once I start writing I couldn't stop until I reach where I originally wanted to. I'd like to divide it but my hand just won't stop. I'm trying to develop my English as it's not my native language. I hope you're enjoying these stories so far. Finally the main thing comes lol. The academy! Now I'll be off, have a nice day!
