Zoya was tired suddenly and wanted a nap. she lied down on the couch by her office window and covered herself with her scarf. She had been sick the last few weeks and didn't bother getting checked nor did she want to tell Adhi. Adhi was in India while Zoya is in New York. There had been some crisis at Zoya's father's office and she had come back within two weeks of their marriage. But, being the understanding husband he is let her come while he still was needed at the company in India. oh yes;) They didn't have there honeymoon yet and Adhi was planning for a trip to Pune, the place Zoya loved when they were on a college trip. to be exact, the only trip Zoya went on that also with so much of pestering from Adhi.
Zoya felt herself drown into sleep and deep into a slumber where she was only dreaming about Adhi and her family. well. it's been 4 a month she's away from Adhi and both hearts were missing the other piece. " Zoya..... come to me" she saw Adhi standing by a tree nd extending his arm for her to hold. She smiled and tried to hold his hand but, suddenly Adhi's figure vanished and someone pulled her by her hair. she woke up breathing heavy and relaxed finding herself in her office.
she soon picked her phone and called Adhi to only for it to go on voicemail. she was panicking and called Adhi's home for no one to answer and she was again worried sick. she tried Adhi's sister, mom and dad. she wished she could have gotten the house maid aunt's number in case of emergency. She was breathing heavy and an unknown fear crept. She decided to call her dad and inform about not being able to answer the calls. And then, the phone to her mom and dad did not connect too. she soon grabbed her purse, and coat and then left the office informing a friend of hers to handle things and that she's going home.
She found her car with a driver and sat inside asking the driver to go home. and then, she still kept trying to call everyone again, hoping for at least one of them to answer and wishing that one person would be her Adhi. but, everything was in vain. she soon thanked god when Adhi's phone ringed and before the second ring, her phone died. for the first time in years, she cursed and was about to slam the phone and noticed the car was moving in a different direction that is different from the way to her home. " Hello sir, I asked you to take me to my house. Kashyap mansion" He didn't move but kept driving. suddenly, Zoya felt the need to vomit. noticing her, the driver stopped by and gave her a plastic bag that she soon grabbed and puked. and just like that, she felt dizzy and the last thing she heard was Adhi shouting Zoya's name," Zoya...." she smiled and whispered, "are you fine?" before she closed her eyes fully.
" what's wrong doctor?" Adhi asked and the doctor said," she had been stressed for a week or more maybe and with that she had been panicking.." Adhi cut the doctor off saying, " It's my fault she was panicked. If it wasn't for me who was trying to surprise her..." he trailed off and the doctor who was just around his forties said, " young man, yes she did panic but, she and the baby are safe" still adhi was mumbling," I'm at fault.... what??" Adhi asked the doctor when his mind registered the words. " pregnant?" he asked and the doctor said," didn't you know?" and then when adhi didn't reply, he said," Mr. Aditya, a business man like you can let down your guards down sometime but not when there is public in a high number" Adhi's ear reddened and just mumbled a yes and when he again remembered the pregnant word, he hugged the man tight and said," thank you for the good news".
Zoya woke up to find and iv attached to her left palm and her hand held softly buy Adhi. she smiled looking at the face of her love and when she suddenly remembered whatever happened before she faint, she woke Adhi and asked," why didn't you nor anyone picked the phone?" He looked everywhere but her face and Zoya felt something fishy and asked him sternly " Mr. Aditya, please enlighten me with your honest answer" Finally, he decided to say, I just wanted to surprise you and take you on our honeymoon" when Zoya was about to say something, " no... I already talked to Kashyap uncle and aunt and made sure your free for two weeks. but still everything is spoiled because of my stupid, crazy brain. But, I have a chance to be mad at you for not saying me about your pregnancy" before he could continue, Zoya mumbled, "who is? I'd have told you If I was. By the way, what made you think I'm pregnant? And for your information, In case your talking about my extra muscles I gained recently, your the total reason for ordering so much of food all three times and snacks twice a day that is a hell lot and I didn't....." she was rambling when Adhi placed his lips on hers making Zoya smile in the kiss.
It wasn't too long after the kiss the doctor arrived and congratulated Zoya and I before informing she should get rest and about few diets and exercises along with foods to avoid. after the doctor left, " She advices as if i'm preg" she looked at me wide eyed and said," Oh my..." her eyes welled up and Adhi said soothing words and asked," you made me the happiest man in the whole universe." he wiped away the tears from her cheek and blinked away his tears of joy with a wide smile playing on his lips.
AND THEN THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER..... <3 <3 <3
