O love, my loving vows to you I speak purely and true,
and no more truly than what possible to do.
And this I shall say, with an honest heart, as truest as it can might,
Always will I give you a kiss goodmorning, and a kiss goodnight.Shan't you grant me every wish, I'll accept and move on, because I mind that even though our love is strong,
I mustn't rely on you; I'll prove to be wrong.
When you can't, when I can't, when we can't see at height,
Always will I give you a kiss goodmorning, and a kiss goodnight. At times when your love is led by lust,
when the beauty is not in the eye of mine, not by soul, but below the bust.
When you love with your body, straightway and firm, drunk and intoxicated in sight,
Always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight. You, when you question my faith, my loyalty, really I should be asking, dear, that to you, not me.
I say, I stay, I pray, I lay, with thee, when you clearly, don't truest love me.
You hurt, dear, oh that you do, and dear, I mustn't be right, you see,
As always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight.Words you weave into somewhat sentences, a never ending chain of your 'so' honest heart.
Your filthy mouth leaves me lost in the sea, swimming amongst your talented art.
Why, I must mind, should I keep drowning dangerously in this continual hurt, so close, it could bite.
Why, I must mind, always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight.Other women, other dames, other womanly dames that occupy your time.
Clearly obvious is the shamely, weakly, lonely lady, left not by your dime.
However, I ignore, I pretend, I become even more the accommodating delight.
And still, always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight. In the dark hours, when all others are forgotten, when I am your only, sole object of desire, I become devastatingly numb.
Mark me, my dear, I remember you used to. Now I wait, and wait, and wait, and succumb.
Many times, for many nights, you were able to light my fire and ignite.
You no longer make my flames flare, but still, always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight. We never seem to be hand in hand, or eye to eye, dear, all important is only your desire.
Obey, oh I do, even when I am just, I arrive at the receiving side of your uncontrollable ire.
Physically, emotionally, utterly tormented. In fright.
But always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight.Once a upon a time, you were my fairy tale, in a far, far, away, magical Kingdom.
Now, my internal heart is no more moved by you, you are no longer beating my barren bass drum.
My rhythm is forever lost, as is my shiny armour-wearing, handsome knight.
You have rusted, my dear, yet always will I give you a kiss goodmorning and a kiss goodnight.

Always Will I
PoetryThis is a poem I wrote last year (2014) and I thought I'd put it up to see what you all think. Please vote for it, and I hope you enjoy. :) This is a sad love poem about the loss of love, yet never the loss of loyalty.
