Chapter Five: Delinquents Like Youself Have So Much to Learn From the Art of...... Make Up.

JEFF'S POINT OF VIEW

Three Months went by so quickly like a running cheetah, and today it was Friday. Which means Red's seventeenth birthday is in two days time.

Our friendship is getting better and better, so far it seemed fascinating to finally know what it feels to look forward in seeing somebody.

In Christmas, she became ill and caught a fever (which was before the day we had a snow ball fight) and she made the servants bring her half of the feast on her room while her family and relatives celebrate downstairs. Which, by means, Red and I spent our Christmas together eating and watching films in her room.

As for New Year's, Red refused to go with her parents in New York to celebrate New Year's and stayed with me. Of course, she has a couple of maids staying too but they never had the guts disturbed her. Oh wait, I mean us. The fireworks were fascinating though. And we both had a contest in who could eat the most food. I won it, obviously. She couldn't finish the salad. I'm surprised we both didn't get fat.

After that, let's say I enjoyed hearing Red's moans and groans about not wanting to go back to school now that she was enjoying non school days with me. ("Jeff, school's tomorrow! I don't want to go!". "Red, you have to,". "Oh wait, I think I'm developing a fever,". "No Red, not buying it. ". "Aw, Jeff!"). She said that before we met, she despised staying at her house. But not anymore since she has her house buddy now.

Washington's police force seemed to relax and assumed that I moved to another state because I didn't kill as often as before. Mainly a jogger or two but they came to the conclusion that it's just a normal street murder or something. Excluding the birthday parties I crashed and raided.

Speaking of birthday parties, Valentine's day is the day before Red's birthday. Which is tomorrow. Shit, I became preoccupied with her birthday, I didn't even realize Valentine's Day is tomorrow! I really hope no one asked her out or I'll be flipping my shit.

"Jeff! "

Speak of the devil and she shall appear. Oh, wait. Let me rephrase that, think of the angel and she shall appear. Wait, I don't think an Angel is enough to describe her, Goddess might be the right word.

"Hey Red, " I greeted, walking along with her from her walk down the street. "How's school, princess? "

"Not much," she shrugged carelessly, "A couple guys asked me out on a... air quote... 'Blind Date'. "

I suddenly tensed my face burning of irritation, because damn, I wished she didn't say yes. "Did you answer to any of them? "

Her smile stretched wider. "No, because I want to spend tomorrow with you! " she exclaimed, her fake black irises glimmering with excitement. I became excited, preventing myself from squealing like a girl. She really wants to spend tomorrow with me? My irritation and jealousy got replaced with excitement and relief. The things this girl do to me, really.

"Wait what? How will you exactly do that? " I asked just as the mansion's gate came into view. The building is decorated in red sashes and roses, along with little hanging Cupids around the railings.

She opened the gate saying, "Magic. "

"Whatever you say, princess, " I said, shaking my head, "I'll just meet you upstairs. "

"How would you take me out in broad daylight without people screaming and police sirens disturbing our, let's say... Friendly Date? " I frantically asked, dropping my hands on my white hoodie. "It's not everyday you see a blind girl taking a boy with an obliterated smile with a slightly bloodied hoodie out. Because as you know, some stains on my clothes are permanent and near impossible to take off. "
