CHAPTER 10- MATE'S ARE MAD?

Ali's P.O.V.

Callum pulled me through several shops buying me shirts, skirts, shorts and jumpers and a bunch of other stuff that they thought I'd need they stopped asking me what I wanted when I kept saying "I'm not sure". They were carrying 6 shopping bags each and I had none they wouldn't let me carry any "hey did we umm.... wanna sit down and rest for a bit?" I offered feeling bad for them, they nodded and headed towards the food court ohhhh will I get to eat? I wondered surely, they didn't bring me here just to tease me while they ate food? Callum sat me in a seat while Jaiden went to go buy food "make sure you eat this food slowly we don't want you throwing up your food again, ok?" he stared at me with a small look of irritation, I nodded not wanting to upset him more, it was long before Jayden was back placing food down in front of Callum first and then me. The food was weird it was stashed inside each other and it was long and different coloured "this is a hot dog ok make sure to eat it slowly but I want you to eat at least half of it before your done alright?" Jaiden explained as he sat down, he must have seen the confused look on my face it was weird because he also seemed a bit annoyed. I nodded before picking it up and taking a small bit it was bread that was all I got in the bit, I didn't mind as it was fresh and soft so I just kept nibbling on it until I got to the meat, I guess? I was already getting full so I slowed down more it was definitly yummy and I'd have it again! "Are you ok lil mate?" Callum asked turn slightly to look down at me "ah y-yeah I'm ok why?" he hummed in thought for a second "well you seem really quiet and you won't look at either of us and your also taking the smallest of bites" he listed on his fingers "oh umm you yo-you both s-seemed mad I didn't w-wa-wanna make it worse" I mumbled putting my food down then stairing at my hands "Sky do you think I made them madder?" I didn't get a response he must be asleep "oh kit sorry hun didn't mean to make you worried, you wouldn't make us mad me and Callum are just having a lil tiff is all" "it's not because of me, is it?" "What no mate not because of its cause this boozo doesn't know how to watch his mouth" Callum cuts in before Jaiden could even answer Jaiden just looks down at his hands and stays silent, he looked like a kicked puppy "hmm what I thought now hun I promise we aren't mad at you ok now how is the food?" Callum glared at Jaiden and then turned to me his eyes softening "oh ok oh it's yummy thank youu so much! But I am full now I've eaten more than half tho, is that ok?" "yeah, mate that's ok don't stress" Jaiden finally looks up with a small smile.

Jaiden's P.O.V.

Not gonna lie that hurt a lil I didn't mean to upset him I just forget he's more sensitive sometimes I know Ima have to make up for it later but oh well "good I'm proud of you that's more than enough" I smiled at my lil mate "ok should we keep on walking around or should we head home?" I watched as Ali shrugged clearly unsure of how to answer Callum jumped up scooping up a few bags "I for one vote to go home I'm tired" both me and mate followed standing up he tried to grab a bag but stopped when both I and Callum glared at him. It was no problem getting him in the car this time around no he practically was skipping to the car I had to remind him several times to slow down and wait for us I ended up making him grab one handle of a shopping bag and I held the other so he couldn't run off, I'll admit it's nice having someone excited about going for a drive in my car I know Cal doesn't particularly like how fast I drive in it but she's a beauty and she handles so well compared to when I first brought her she was a piece of crap barely started and the gear box was so damaged and I needed to stock it with new tires I ended up practically stripping it and just using the frame to build a brand new car and now she handles so well!

The drive home was pretty good I put one the radio and that was it Ali fell asleep to the sound of it "Cal baby I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you I didn't think before I said it, I was just flustered" I knew if I didn't start apologising now I'd end up on the couch tonight we each had our own beds and a bed we shared but when I'm in trouble like this I'm band from even my own bed so yeahhhh..... "hmm that's nice" he said leaning his head on the window and turning to stare out the window "c'mon I'm serious I'm sorry you know what I'm like I don't think before I talk and him calling me sir outta the blue really threw me off I wasn't expecting it" I placed my hand on his right thigh looking at him to give him a quick pout I know he knows I'm doing I always do It when I'm apologising "hm.. You know he said the second one on purpose his fox Sky told me sky also told me that he encouraged him to ask you how the underwear looked to get your 'input' he knew what it would do to Sylis and wanted to test Ali to see if he'd do it" he laughed at me now turning to laugh at me tho keeping his head still rested on the window "the lil shit, Sky seems to be the adventurous type hmm I wonder if mate is to?" I tilted me head in thought "he is Sky tells me that when he sees something new, he always wants to try it out and is inquisitive so I think we are gonna have our hands full with our lil mate" I smiled I'm excited for our future I finally felt complete I had my mates with me and my pack it! "Callllllll you know I love you right?" "Yeas I know don't worry you're not sleeping on the couch but you're not sleeping on the big bed you can sleep in your own bed tonight" I was about to fist bump the air but stopped when he finished, I knew better then to argue with him I was lucky I got the bed and wasn't stuck on the couch "you can thank our mate for that if it wasn't for me not wanting him walking down the stairs during the night to just go see you then you'd be on the couch" he threw a glare at me then turned to continue looking out the window I nodded knowing he couldn't see me the rest of the thirty minute drive went by silently as Ali slept and Callum looked out the window.

Ali's P.O.V.

I woke up startled the car had jolted and my head hit the window "ow ow owieee" Callum turned to look at me at my whinging and tsked "see I told you we shouldn't have come down this way to man damn potholes but do you listen no! Are you ok hun we are almost home sorry you hit your head this dumbass didn't listen to me and we went over a big pothole" I giggled the first part obvious aimed at Jaiden "yeah I'm ok I just hit my head is all, what's a pothole?" "My dear mate it's when there's a whole in the road so the road is uneven" "well why not just fill in the whole?" I shot back tilting my head to the right "it's not as easy as that lil mate the Counsil has to do it and they don't do shit let alone fill in the thousands of potholes that are on the road" "well the Counsil is stupid then!" I huffed back and turned my head to look as if ending the conversation, he laughed at me as I sulked out the window, I didn't understand what he meant by they wouldn't fill the holes wasn't that their jobs the public's safety or something? Maybe they don't have a good Counsil? we turned down on to a narrow road that was lined with trees and bushes down either side of it for a good maybe five minutes before it opened up into wide open landed that had a bunch of strange buildings and random structures, I weren't sure what they were then we pulled up to the house I was familiar with it's the one we left out of before I got into this awesome car "ahh the main house we'll be going in here for a few minutes before going to our house ok mate let's get going" Jaiden calls out to me the main house? Their own house? Do they not live with their pack? What's going on I wonder as I sit and wait for him to open my door as to not get in trouble again as if hearing my thoughts Callum starts talking suddenly "this is the pack house this is where most pack meetings go down there's also a few guest rooms in case we rescue someone so that they can get medical attention and the pack is safe away from possible danger our house is just a couple of houses down from here so we'll walk down while Jay drives his car to our garage so you can meet some of our pack" I nodded stepping out holden Callum's hand he held out. The 'pack house' as they called it wasn't very big two stories the kitchen dining hall giant meeting room and a toilet were down stairs and three rooms place the alpha's suit for when they stayed here which is where we slept last night and a bathroom and toilet were upstairs there was a playground with fencing Callum told me as I pointed out the back, Callum was giving me a tour as Jaiden had been dragged off by a pack member Taylor and Suzy I think their names were, we finished at the kitchen "our house is similar size but instead but with four bedrooms so we have a room each and another room that we share that has a massive bed so we can all sleep together" "wow so I get my own room?" I said loudly as I laughed Jaiden joined as he came walking out from the dining room "yeas mate you get your own very private room with your own bed! But you'd still like to sleep and cuddle with us sometimes as well, right?" he looks to me happy at first then sad and makes it look like he's crying "I-I mean yeah but I get my own bed I'm so happy!" I laugh looking at them, they had a sad look on their face before turn on a smile Callum jumps in picking me up randomly "alright lil mate lets head over there aey! Jay why don't you go put the car away and we'll meet you there?" Jaiden looks like he's about to argue before sighing in defeat and walking out. I try and push away from Callum so I can walk but he only swings me onto his hips and holds me tighter and walks out the door, smiling at each pack member and introducing me to them each there was Dylan he was a short beta wolf that skipped around happily and seemed very friendly, then there was the triplets Hayley, kayley and Lanely Hayley and kayley were girls and Lanely was a boy. Hayley and Lanely seemed nice and smiled at me but Kayley seemed to be mad with me I didn't understand why tho we just met?! Then there was Juston he seemed nice didn't really say much just nodded and went on his was, and last but not least there was Sam she seems rude she refused to say hi to me and kept touching on my mate even tho he pushed her hand off a bunch of times. We finally made it to the house it was taller than the other house it had three floors instead of two like the pack house "ahh here's our little humble abou how about I take you to see your room? And then we'll go see the main room and have a nap and then a tour of the house yeah?" Callum cheered distracting me from my thoughts "ohh oh yeas! Yeas please!!!" I giggled jumping up as much as I could, we got inside and the first thing was a small little room Callum put me down and sat down on a small seat "come on shoes off and put these slippers on" I nodded quickly kicking my shoes off and barely managing to put on the slippers before pushing the next door open and running in I stared in awe at the house and main room it was a pretty lilac purple walls and tiled floors "wow so pretty!!" "haha I'm glad you like it mate now onto your room" Jaiden says standing at the bottom of the wooden stairs I'm just now noticing I go to try and run up the stairs but Jaiden stops me and picks me up and puts me on his hip "after this morning's adventure with stairs I'm carrying you up here" he said his tone indicating that it was finally and no arguing was to continue, I nod resting my head on his shoulder I smile at Callum just behind us.
