Why does that sound so familiar!?

My mind was spiraling out of control with all these questions appearing in my head. Did he play the game? I'm so mentally confused as hell. This stranger fully spoke the line from the game, Your Boyfriend, as if it was just normal talk. I look in the corner of my eye and saw he was waiting for my response.

Crap

I set myself straight and turn to look at him. Even though my mind was still giving me all these questions, I had to get my act together. I had to say something, anything to kill the awkward silence between us that I had caused.

"What did you just say?" Being straight-forward.

"All I said was that I didn't like my name, and want you to give me a nickname." A perplexed look on his face.

"Oh.." More thoughts appeared.

Taking a minute to think, I try to remember what he was wearing this morning. Though, I do remember seeing a black and white heart on his shirt. The heart keep going through my mind, until it hit me. Peter has that exact shirt in the game, he wears a black sleeveless hoodie and black pants. The more I think about it, the more it all makes sense. I need to be sure first, that this man was either a cosplayer or as much as its impossible, they could be the real Peter.

"Alright, well.. How about Peter?" I suggested.

Bingo

"..Wait, what was that?" His eyes wide. "How do you know my real name?!" He's definitely upset.

"Lucky guess.. Though, I already know who you are." Now I was the one Uno reversing him.

"You know who I am?" Eyes narrowed at me.

"Yes, because of a game-" He holds up a hand, making me stop talking.

"A game you say? Well.. let me tell you something, I was minding my own damn business when a tornado came outta nowhere and sucked me up. The next thing I knew I woke up to you, staring me down." Right to the point.

"I apologized for that, Peter. And what was I supposed to do, let you lay there beat up?" Now I was the one getting upset.

His head lowers, some of his raven hair covering his eyes and his whole emotion changed in two seconds. A sigh leaves him, and he looks me dead in the eyes.

"Look, I appreciate you for helping me and.. I'm sorry for the tension a moment ago." He was sincere.

I had never seen any man in my life be so serious about an apology. His tone of voice was strong and sincere. Though, I wondered, why did my aunt tell me men were shit bags who only see us, women, as objects for their own personal pleasures. That's beside the point of this situation, the real Peter was in my house, in my own room, talking to me.

Oh my god, Peter is talking to me!!

"How the hell are you here?! Like right here in my room!?" Now freaked out about the situation.

"I just told you. I was minding my own business, when a tornado came out of nowhere, sucked me up. Then I woke up to you right in front of me." Peter explained once again.

"Oh.. Right, my bad." I giggled from the embarrassment. "Either way, I sort of owe you since I helped you."

"The least you can do is tell me your name, love." He grinned at me.

"That's a whole story in itself since I don't like mine either." I admitted.
