Chapter 1: run away

When the twins were born they instantly knew that something was up but didn't really know what until they saw the two baby girls together as one was crying and the other was just silently chilling in their mother's arms like it had just been through all of this before scaring the mother.

"What is up with her? Isn't she supposed to be crying like Selena" she said looking at the nurses who took the silent baby who hasn't got a name yet and took it away for a check up to see if they could find a reason why it was acting so strangely.

"I'm sure she'll be just fine honey" the father said putting a hand on her right shoulder showing his support and too was worried about the well-being of their newborn girl. "Did you find a name to call are other bundle of joy?" He asked changing the subject as she looked at Selena trying to find something that matched with her sister while it was away with the nurses.

"How about Azalea. It fits perfectly for our other brave girl, I just hope that there isn't anything wrong with her" she said reminding herself of the horrible news of what could be brought upon them like cancer or autism and is something they don't want to deal with despite being quite wealthy themselves as they were currently thinking about themselves and not the sake of their family and what bad luck it would bring to them if she does turn out to be not normal.

After 10 minutes of waiting a nurse came back in with their baby Azalea seeing how happy she was which gave the parents a sigh of relief thinking that there was nothing to be afraid of and it was nothing showing that their baby was completely fine and stable.

"Everything's clear your baby is just fine she was just very happy to see you that's why she acted like that. Not all babies cry after being held in their mother's arms after birth, it's a good sign actually that she would definitely be something great in the future" the nurse said giving the parents even more than they bargained for knowing that one of their babies had potential to do great in life but it's better to see it happen that to just hear it from a nurse who was trying to bring hope to the family and make sure that this kid gets the love she deserves just like her little sister.

A year has passed making the twins a year of age and are currently in the room for with their mother who's watching tv while the twins are playing with the toys that were bought for them by their father. Selena had a doll while Azalea had a different doll as it had blonde hair and barbel blue eyes while her sister's had black hair and marble brown eyes.

"Mine" Selena said as she went in to grab the doll but Azalea pulled it back not wanting to loose this doll in the hands of her sister who always takes stuff away from her but never cries about it and she doesn't even know why.

"No" Azalea didn't want her favourite doll be take away from her just because hers had black hair and brown marble eyes which too had her attention.

"Here" Selena said bringing her doll like if she wanted to trade as Azalea looked at her doll and then at the other one before ultimately giving it up which made her sister happy but Azalea too was happy with the trade as the hair and eyes intrigued her the more she stared at him making it the one thing she treasured more than anything in this world.

The father took no notice of the sudden trade the twins made as long as they were happy with that they got in return then there wasn't an issue or a crying child who demanded for a new toy which for instant was mostly Selena.

When Azalea turned 3 she slowly began to realise how much less of attention she was being given due to Selena's paddy tantrums for more toys and her wouldn't shut up until she gets what she wanted and even skipped Azalea when it came to singing happy birthday because they didn't want her to cry from sharing this day with her own sister but as time grew the distance and live the parents had for Azalea slowly faded away as they put more effort into Selena planning to turn her into a modelling superhero whenever her quirk manifested.
