Chapter One

The light slightly changed from yellow to red and I ceased my car to a stop.

I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket. It was from her. Three simple words were spelled out across my phone screen. Just three words that contained so much emotion in them.

"I love you. "

Feeling a hard impact towards the back of my car. My vision blurred and darkness absorbed my vision.

My eyes felt as if they were sewn shut. I was regained consciousness.

"Harry baby?" I heard a soften voice whisper.

I opened my eyes slowly to see my mum sitting across from my hospital bed with my elder sister beside her.

"Mum, Gemma, what happened?" I asked.

"You've been in a car accident, Harry." Gemma told me. "Don't you remember what happened?" Her eyes were shining with tears waiting to escape her eyes.

I found myself racking my brain to see if I could remember anything about being in an accident. I didn't.

"No" I told her.

As if on cue the doctor came inside my hospital room.

"So I have Harry's brain scans." The doctor said looking up at me, "Oh excellent your awake!"

"What are the results?!" My mother desperately said.

"Well it looks like Harry took some trauma to his head." The doctor stated.

"What does that mean?!" Gemma asked.

"It means he's lost his memory for the past two years of his life."

Gemma's pov:

I couldn't believe my ears. I quickly got up and left the room slamming the door shut. I looked around and saw her.

"Rae?" I asked.

She was sitting up against the wall with her head in her hands. I walked over to her, putting my hand on her shoulder. She looked up with her blue eyes, blood shot from crying so much.

"It's my fault." She chocked out, "He doesn't remember me and I'm the one to blame for it all."

"No-" I was cut off.

"I think it's best that I never see him again. He won't have to know me, that I'm the one who has done this to him." She quickly stated.

"Rae..." My voice trailing off to be interrupted again.

"I can't, I just can't." She said while running out of the hospital.
