Roman brushes the fringe covering his subs eyes, savouring the calm, soft look on his face. Roman loved mornings like this, the excuse to stay in bed longer, no one panicking over anything, it was sweet and they deserved that. Roman has promised the others favourite for breakfast, but that could wait, he didn't care what time it was.

Wrapping his arms around the torso in front of him, his legs tangling under the comforter, he kissed the corner of the other traits eye, "I love you," He whispered silently, smiling, before closing his eyes once again.

He awoke to the feeling of calloused fingertips brushing his cheekbone, he kept his eyes closed, knowing what was going to happen, when he felt the fingers press his lips, he kissed them softly, they retreated quickly, not knowing he was awake.

Roman giggled, "Good morning, my love." He said, blinking his eyes open, trying to get used to the sun leaking into the room, the golden glow illuminating Virgil's features. "I am so damn lucky." Virgil doesn't say anything, only trying to hide his face in Roman's chest.

"Shut up." He responds after awhile. Knocking his forehead against Roman's chest.

Roman laughs, "But it is true, look at you!" He exclaims, lifting Virgil's face upward to look at the glare now directed towards him.

"I will bite you."

"I don't doubt it, darling." Roman winks, laughing again when Virgil nibbles on his bicep, "you're like a little kitten—ow!" Virgil looks up, smirk on his face. "Why are you like this?"

Virgil throws back the comforter, "Go make me pancakes."

Roman raises an eyebrow, "Uh huh, and what do we say?"

"Go make me pancakes, peasant?" Virgil asks, a smile gracing his lips.

"Peasant? How dare you? I am a prince." Roman crawled over Virgil, leaning down to gently kiss his bare neck, "You can ask me to do whatever it is you please, but I am not a peasant." He kissed his left collarbone, before trailing up to his mouth, and just before he kissed him there, he stood on the floor and picked Virgil up bridal style.

Said boy let out a scream, arms reaching behind the princes neck, "Roman!" He yelled, holding tighter as the other laughed joyously, leading him out of the room.

"Yes, darling?" He asked, already walking down the stairs, on his way to the kitchen.

"Put me down." He growled under his breath, although, he still held on. Roman stopped, pretending to think about it, Virgil thinking he was going to comply with his request, only to be hoisted over Roman's shoulder. "Roman!" Virgil pounded on the others back, but he didn't budge, Virgil gave up, laying limp in the arms of the person he thought he could trust. Betrayed. At least he had a nice view.

"Good morning, Logan." Roman greeted, placing Virgil is the seat across the logical trait.

"Good morning, indeed." He responded, filling out his crossword puzzle, taking a bite of toast. "Although, it is almost the afternoon and you are just now making an appearance."

Roman shrugged as he got out the needed things for pancakes. "We decided to treat ourselves." Logan only hummed, glancing up at the two of them.

Roman was finishing Virgil's pancakes when Patton came bounding down the stairs, humming a quiet tune. "Good morning, everyone!" He exclaimed, raising his arms above his head. When he got the respective answer, he sat down next to Logan, "that word's zephyr." He says, pointing at one of the descriptions.

Logan raises his eyebrows, writing the word in the diagonal line, "You just got out here, how did you already find that?" Patton only shrugs, leaning his head on the others. Watching Roman serve Virgil his pancakes, already topped with strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and of course, syrup. Virgil kissed his cheek before he could get back to the stove. "You're in a good mood today, Virge."

He nods, taking a bite of the pancake, closing his eyes briefly, it took his awhile, but he finally chewed it enough to swallow. "Yeah. I guess it's just one of those days."

Patton smiled, stealing one of his own loves eggs, all he got was a quiet groan as to how used to it he already was.

Roman sat next to Virgil, with his own pancake, topped with fruits, both on top and on the side. "A marvelous day is ahead of us."

"Roman it's almost twelve—" Logan tried, only to be cut off.

"That does not stop us, that only means we got more beauty sleep than needed." He proudly stated, popping a grape in his mouth.

"No, now you ruined your sleep schedule." Logan told him.

"What sleep schedule?" Virgil asked. Nobody knew if he was being sarcastic or not.

When he got no response, he finished the last few bites, and went to put his dish away, but Roman beat him to it, "Nope." He rinsed and put the dish in the washer, "today, I get to treat you like the king you are." Virgil rolled his eyes when he heard Patton awe.

"Shut up." He hissed, pulling on the hem of his shirt. "I can do things myself."

Roman only nodded, "Of course, now, we must prepare for the day ahead!" He picked Virgil up again, this time without a fight, and walked to their room.

Patton watched the two until they were out of sight, "Virgil's having a good day today, I wonder what caused it?"

"How about the fact Roman had spent the night 'treating' him like the king he is." He said, using finger quotes, before finishing his crossword and breakfast. "Let's go see if Thomas is in need of assistance today."
