Roman opened the bedroom door for Virgil, letting the shorter side enter before him. They walked to the anxious traits closet which held clothing for both of them.

Virgil grabbed a lavender coloured shirt, along with his signature hoodie.

"Do you want ripped jeans or non ripped jeans?" Roman asked, holding up two different pairs of black pants.

Virgil grabs the ones with holes, "Ripped." He changed out of his sleep pants, before slipping into the skinny jeans, albeit, it took a minute. He looks in his mirror, deciding he could apply another layer, grabbing his eyeshadow and brush, applying it until he thought it was dark enough. He saw Roman watching over his shoulder. "What?"

He shrugged, tying his sash, "You're gorgeous no matter how much makeup you wear."

Virgil bared his teeth jokingly. "You forgot to brush in the back." He told him, indicating to the back of his head.

Roman took out two of his hand held mirrors, trying to see where he forgot to brush, not seeing anything, he glared at him. "I thought I could trust you. And you go and do that." He said crossing his arms over his chest.

"I thought I could trust you, but you throw me over your shoulder." He snaps his fingers, "I guess we were both played."

"I guess so." Roman smiles, "Let us go see if Thomas needs any assistance today." He said before sinking out, arms raised in his usual pose.

Virgil rolled his eyes, following suit, everyone was already there when he popped up, getting a good reaction out of everyone.

Thomas pressed his hands together, looking at all the other aspects of himself, "Okay," he said, breathing deeply, "so I know we did the whole sorting video, where we tried fitting Virgil in a Hogwarts house, but I got a lot of questions asking if you guys have a second gender and what it is."

Patton clapped, smiling brightly, "Of course we do!" He looked over at Logan.

"Just like you being a Hufflepuff and us being a part of something else, it also applies to your second gender." Logan told him, crossing his arms over his chest. "Being versatile is the most common category to be fit into. And us being our own person aside from you puts us in our own category."

Thomas nodded, "Makes sense, thanks for explaining that, Lo. Could you maybe tell us what it is?" He asked hopefully.

Patton raised his hand as if being a student, "Ooh, ooh! I'm verse, like you!" He said happily.

"Along with me." Logan told him.

Thomas smiled, "That's awesome, Roman? Virge? If you don't want to, that's cool."

Roman threw his arms up in his usual pose, "I am a dominant!" He exclaimed, looking up at nothing.

The four looked over at Virgil. "I literally told you my name not even that long ago, tried fitting into a nonexistent house, and now you want me disclosing my category?" He stuffed his hand in his pockets, looking over at Roman, who nodded his head to show his support. He sighed. "Fine, okay, it's cool. I'm . . . I'm a—uh, sub. I'm submissive." He said quietly.

Thomas smiled just barely. "Hey," He said, trying to get the sides attention, all he got was a glance, before he looked back down, "that's okay, you're not any less being a sub, in fact, it makes you stronger. All of our genders make us stronger in some way." He said calmly.

Virgil looked up then, hands still in his pockets. "I know that, it's just—" he cuts himself off, thinking of how to finish his sentence "—it's just, being . . . me, expected to be this overpowering emotion. I control so much of what happens to you, I guess I just should've been something else. Instead," he lets out a forced, breathy laugh, "I'm this aspect that can be controlled just by Princey using his voice."

Roman frowns, "You cannot be controlled so easily. You are more than just a submissive, just as I am more than a dominant, and Logan, Patton and Thomas are more than just versatile. We are who we make ourselves.

"Logan is, of course, logical, but he's also loyal and can be a little materialistic or mechanical at times. Patton is Thomas' morality, he's caring, eccentric and every feeling Thomas feels. I'm more than just Thomas' creativity and imagination, and not to toot my own horn, but I'm charming, confident, and courageous—"

"Don't forget untidy, obnoxious and you obsess way too easily." Virgil cut him off with a smirk.

Roman waved a hand, "Whatever you say, Hot Topic. What I'm saying is we're more than what we think we are, and so are you."

"Yes, without you, Thomas would have no sense of self preservation. You are his vigilance and response to everyday life." Logan told him, pushing his glasses higher on his nose.

"Even when I'm blunt?" Virgil asked, leaning on the post.

"Even when you're blunt." Roman agreed, smiling.

"It's okay, Virge, it can be terrifying being who you really are, but you trusting us enough to tell us is a feat in itself, I guess you can say you overcame your anxiety of telling me and everyone else watching how you feel. It's okay if you're embarrassed, nervous, or overall ashamed of something you can't control, it's a natural reaction, it'll get better over time, you just have to be patient." Thomas told him smiling.

When Virgil looked up, he was overwhelmed to see their reactions. "Thanks, I guess." He shrugged, "later, Thomas." He said, before sinking out.

Roman raised his arms, "Have a splendid day, Thomas!" He called, before following suit.

Thomas waved goodbye. Looking over at the two remaining sides, "Did you guys know each other's category?"

Logan nodded, "Of course. Although we were unaware Virgil felt that way about his gender, this topic has brought a light on the subject of how he feels about his gender." He sunk down.

"Patton, buddy?" Said side looked over, hand over his mouth, "you okay?"

He nodded. "Just thinking, I mean, I never really thought about it, but our gender makes such a big impact on our lives, but not on who we are. It's such a twist on our perspective of what it contributes to." He said, humming, "I better go check on Virgil, just to see how he's doing."

And before he knew it, Thomas was alone in his living room. "I hope this helped you in some way; it's hard coming to terms with who you really are. We think that sticking to one thing make us who we are, blinding us from what makes us human. It doesn't matter if you're verse, dom, sub—you're you; you are what your favourite music genre or tv show is, or what you do in your free time, you're whoever you want to be, don't feel obligated to associate yourself into one category, everyone fits in somewhere." He breathed out a sigh of relief, "anyway, take it easy, guys, gals, and non binary pals. Peace out!"
