chapter 3-resumption is nearby

Hamida pov-
"It was 4:00pm I stood up from my bed,my mum was sitting in her room lost in thought.mum!! I called her severely but no response then I went to tap her at her back.
Oh hammy she replied it is time right?  yes mum it is, Immediately we went to the park and boarded a car to the hospital.
We finally arrived at the hospital,my mum forgot her wallet at home she was completely mystifed Hamida are you with my wallet?
I replied vehemently no mum!! Where could the wallet be,after a while my mum finally summon up that she kept it underneath her pillow
The driver began to yell at my mum,madam where is our money? I still have lot of passenger to drop
My mum started stammering,the driver came down and he began to beat my mum she started shedding tears ,I try my possible best to stop the driver  but I could not
All my efforts to stop the driver from beating my mum went in vain,some men was passing by, then came to meet the driver and asked why he was beating my mum with full force.
The driver explain to them what happened they decided to pay the money for us,the driver immediately drove and left.
I and my mum was on our knees thanking the unknown men for the money they gave to the driver...

"I took my wristwatch from my hand bag and checked the time it was 5:00pm already oh no!!, We spent an hour with that annoying driver,.my mum  rushed down to the ward to check my dad but the door was locked,nurse!!! Come and open the door I went round the hospital looking for the nurse but I could not find her I went back to the ward,the door was opened already by the cleaner, my mum dashed out into the ward
My husband!! How are you feeling?
He replied with a beautiful smile,I am fine dear.
I was looking at my dad he was looking weak and pale Dad, my mum could not hold it she started crying my daughter your dad has lymphocytic leukemia,
What!!! This was the most shocking news ever I couldn't believe my ears my dad too was also shocked how can I have lymphocytic pneumonia?I eat healthy food I also take good care of myself why does this disease have to come?my dad said, tears was flowing down his eyes.
The doctor came in and examine his temperature.
We  had to leave the hospital the doctor said,it was already 6:00pm the visiting time was over we bid good bye to him,may Allah Grant you good health my husband my mum said.
Dad please come home soon we have missed you alot,my daughter I will insha Allah.

"I and my mum left the hospital,we where on our way home when my mom  received a text message about my resumption date,hammy you are resuming next week she said
My face was filled with surprise what!! Why so soon? Where will I get money to pay my school fees?
Don't worry my daughter I will tell your dad to get some one who can lend us money.
Ohk mum!! I said happily

"We finally arrived home, mum what should I prepare for you I said,hammy I don't have appetite to eat just make only your food
But mum I can not eat without you,my dear daughter go and eat I will be fine.
I went to the kitchen to make some pasta,after about thirty minutes the pasta was ready,I took my food and went to my room.
I took my phone from the desk close to my bed,6 missed call from jalal wow!!.
I called him back., hello jalaludeen how are you doing?
I am fine hammy hw is ur dad?
My dad is still in the hospital he has lymphocytic lukemia and the doctor said they need to do operation,I don't know where I will get money from
Oh my God!! hameeda how much is the cost of the surgery?
It is 8million
Ohkay hameeda I will see what I can do about it in shaa Allah Everything will be fine dear just keep praying I will come and check up on you tommorow.
Ohk jalaludeen hope u are preparing for resumption I heard it is next week
Yes hammy it is., I have paid my fees already, have you paid  yours?

The day passed by so quickly I laid down on my bed,then I slept off before I knew it was day time already.
