I sang every song, I danced to all of them too. i could barely breath and I definately couldn't breathe. I mean, think about it. How many people get a private One Direction concert for their birthday, no contest or anything?!? I couldn't help it, my eyes were on Niall the whole time. He had been my favorite since day one. Not by much because they were all amazing, but still. I mean we had the same birthday and everything! I knew it would never happen, I wasn't stupid. I knew one day soon they would leave or go on tour and leave and I'd never see them again. It would crush me knowing I'd probably never see them after prom that was just a month away. Mabye after tonight I wouldn't see them again until prom and I'd just see Niall and not the others. I pushed the thought tho the back of my mind when Niall pointed directly at me when they sang "Don't need makeupt cover up." I blushed softly and smiled again trying not to think of anything too depressing and succeeded. I wanted so badly to talk to Kate about all this, she and I were the closest of the three although I was super close with all of them. I think it had something to do with how me and Kate were both seniors and had known each other since eighth grade and the other girls were a year older than us.

She had eyes for Louis and I grinned to myself. I'd get them together if it killed me. Her and Kristin were the ones to get me into One Direction in the first place it was only right. After the concert I had to pee, soda went through me almost as fast as water did and I wasn't drinking any water tonight. Just sodas and maybe something else later. I came out after washing my hands and fixing my hair which had come down some during the concert. The second I opened the door Katelynn shoved me into the backyard which was dark. "What in the-" I started to say but she cut me off with a "Shh, you'll cause wrinkles if you worry. Go." smoothing down the worry lines that were on my forehead and shoving me gently into the backyard. I trusted her so went further into the back yard using the light of my phone to see where I was going. Katelynn had went back inside and I wondered what I was supposed to be doing out here. "Hello?" I called trying to see if someone was waiting for me. "Laura" I felt arms around my waist and recognized the voice instantly. "Niall, what's going on?" I smiled unconciously leaning into him a little. His aftershave, Armani mania, smelled amazing. "It's a beautiful night" He said avoiding the question but I had to agree with him. The sky was crystal clear and the moon was full. We were alone and it felt great but I remebered he hadn't answered the question. "So why did Kate shove me out here, I know there's something going on." I turned to face him and even in my heels he was a few inches taller than me. I was short, so was Katelynn, yet another thing we had in common. He smiled and took my hand leading my to sit down in a chair and he sat on the edge of the stage picking up his guitar.

"Niall what are you doing?" I asked smling, somehow the tiki torches around the stage had come on so we could see each other. He just smiled and started playing one of my favorite songs on the planet that wasn't One Direction; Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney. I gasped and couldn't ook away, I'd have to thank Kate however I possibly could. When he strummed the song to an end, looking up at me, I wanted to kiss him right then and there. Like, it was killing me just sitting there, I had no clue what came over me, I couldn't help but glance from his eyes for a split second to his lips then I realised what I did and sttod, sitting next to him on the edge of the stage.

"Niall, thank you. It was beautiful. Just... Thank you. For everything. The party, yesterday, all of it. Never did I dream this would ever happen to me. So thank you." He smiled at me and said softly "It was my pleasure. But it was Katelynn's idea. I'm just glad I knew the words." I laughed quietly "I had a feeling Kate was up to it. But thank you again." He nodded and layed on the stage and lied down next to him smilind as we talked softly about ways to help Louis/Katelynn and Harry/Kristin and Haley/Liam to gether when I heard a slow romantic song playing softly, and lookin gup at Niall I noticed he heard it to, and he was looking me straight in the eyes. He stood up on the stage and I sat up, confused. He held his hand out and I took it a little confused. "Dance with me" He smiled, putting his hands on my waist.
