But once he heard a familiar voice, he slowly walk up to the door, the knocking sound was leading the way..
-
"Hey, so my mom told me to- hey! are you okay?" Minho said as he bent down and looked at Jisung.
There was no answer, just silence. Jisung couldn't speak. It felt like his mouth was shut closed. He couldn't find the words to describe how he feels. All he wants was someone to hold him.
"Are you okay..?" Minho asked again.
Jisung started crying even more.
"Okay, never mind," said Minho as he awkwardly looked around, trying to figure out what to do.
"Shit- what do I do. I never really comforted anyone, especially when they're crying." Minho thought to himself.
He tried talking, but Jisung never answered. But suddenly Minho heard someone calling him.
"Minho! is Jisung okay?" His mom yelled while running to the doorstep.
Minho's mom's eyes softened as he saw the sight of the poor boy crying, hugging his knees.
"Ohh, my baby, what's wrong? You don't have to tell me if you're not comfortable, though," Minho's mom said while slowly bending down and gently holding Jisung in his arms as if Jisung was her own child.
She started rocking Jisung in her arms on the doorstep, looking up at the stars. Minho didn't know how to react during those few minutes and just stood there, not moving at all.
"Why didn't you do anything," Minho's mom said to him.
"I- I didn't know what to do," he said as he looked away.
She gave him a disappointed face and slowly changed to a sad face when she looked at Jisung.
"Let's get inside; it's getting cold," She said as she sat up and brought Jisung into the living room.
She sat Jisung down on the couch and went to the kitchen to find a cup.
For Minho, he was standing in front of the door with eyes wandering around the room.
"Son! what are you doing there standing around? Sit down with Jisung and get along with him."
So Minho walked to the couch and sat next to Jisung, and made himself comfortable.
"Hey, so why were you crying earlier? You afraid of dark or something," he said while laughing.
"A-actually I'm-"
"Jisung! Do you guys know where you put your cups?" Minho's mom calling Jisung from the kitchen.
"Oh, I'll show," standing up and grabbed a cup for her.
"Here"
She grabbed the cup and poured chamomile tea (which helps your sleep) she boiled earlier and handed it to Jisung.
"H-how did you know I needed this?" Jisung asked with curiosity.
"Out of experience," She said and walked away to the living room.
Jisung smiled, knowing that he isn't the only one and happily walked to the living room with the cup of tea in his hands.
"Minho, you can go back home; I'll stay with Jisung for a while."
"Uhm, okay.." he said as he left the house confused about why she is staying.
After Minho left, she brought Jisung to his room.
"Finish your tea, and I'll watch over you," she said with a reassuring smile.
"Thank you"
