"Cool" I sighed.

"Bitch"

"Asshole" I muttered.

"I'm not an assho--"

"And I'm not a bitch" I said confidently.

I take a Glace over at Michael and smile.

Hes my best friend, we've been friends since kindergarten.

Hes like my favorite friend, mostly all my guy friends have liked me at one point in life. Or they develop a crush on me.

But not him.

Hes gay.

Literally, hes gay.

"Mike, can I ask you something"

"Why do you like to call me Mike? You do you know my name is Michael, right?" He said.

"Yea no shit" I say pointing to his hat that literally says Michael.

Dumbass

"Okay well-"

I interrupt his talking by laughing.

I've been trying to spend time with my friends to avoid how I feel.

It's just something I do, I've done it since as long as I can remember.

But as much as I'm around people I never tell them any secrets or anything that could be held against me. In case they betray me.

I just bottle up my emotions.

"So what did you wanna ask me?"

"Do you remember when we were kids, and my mom would always wear this necklace and it had like a weird ass key on it?"

"Yea did you ever find out what it was to?"

I just ignored what he asked me and took a long drag out of my cigarette.

"What Is it with you and cigarettes?" He sighed.

I let out a breathly laugh and say "I don't know"

"Okay well ash i'm going to head home get some sleep it's late" he says before pulling me in for a hug.

"I love you, ash" he whispers in my ear.

I've never heard him tell me that before, in our whole twelve years of friendship he's never told me he loves me.

I don't say anything back I just dig my head further into his chest.

Not long after he walks away I go back to my house.

It's not very hard for me to get over things, I just say whatever and move on.

But when things do effect me it just piles up and makes me feel worse.

I head to bed but I feel a weight move it's way around me.

I look back and see kai.

But seconds later hes gone.

Gone, again.
