"Will you marry me" sabri jumped out of bed 'phew just a dream'
"SABRINA, LINDSEY IS HERE!!" Sabrina's mom, Yacdelis called from down stairs. "COMING!"
'I'm late i'm late i'm late!!' she grabbed all her clothes and put random shoes on. It was a light pink dress with imprinted flowers and a white pair of vans. By the time she was down stairs her mom had made coffee and her and Lindsey were on the couch talking as if they had been bestfriends their whole life.
Today was the day she would hang out with Lindsey and finally ask the big question. 'deep breath in and deep breath out' she put a smile on and walked up to her mom and Lindsey
"I'm ready!!!"
"Hey sorry about my mom she seemed too interested almost, she's always like that " the nervous laugh spilled out. "Don't worry hun your mom seems nice! You also look nice today that dress looks amazing!! where did you get it??"
They continued talking while walking to their first destination. When they got their they had been enjoying their conversation about different types of tropes (enemies to lovers) that they didn't want to go in. "Wow i thought we had been talking for less but we are already here." Lindsey and Sabrina looked up at the big red sign with light up letters "Cinemark Theater" The shorter girl opened the door for the beautiful lady and walked in behind her. "Well i knew you wanted to watch the new action movie so i bought tickets! perfect in the middle row the best seats of courseee" she said in a kind of happy sarcastic voice. Even though she wasn't quite the fan of action she did enjoy watching it with other people so as soon as Lindsey mentioned that she wanted it she knew this was the perfect starter!
" Sabri... i went last monday to watch this movie but i think i forgot to tell you-" Lin started to explain
'great first mess up of the day' Sabrina's smile dropped but just a little as the girl had a simple lipped smile now. "I could change it then no worries!!" She started walking to the register before lindsey held her hands and took her to the snack section. Sabri protested a bit but finally gave in and went with her. " You knowwww i can return it"
"The movie is amazing I'm always up for seconds" she said as she passed the bill to the cashier and grabbed them both sodas and a single large popcorn tray.
They started small talk. Just the laugh of Lindsey's voice made Sabri happy. It sounded like a harmony that could harmonize in somebodies brain and play on repeat. It was extremely. Contagious. In fact so contagious that she smiled so bright that she forgot where she was heading twice and if it wasn't for the other girl she would have probably tripped more than a dozen.
As soon as they sat down the commercials started.
"seems as we are a bit early doll" Lindsey said and the name doll made Sabri go psycho. Her stomach was like a field filled with hunny all butterflies and bees.
She laughed sincerely at making the short glasses girl so flustered. Sabrina didn't usually give up this easily. Their flirting battles would never end but this was different it was their 7 year anniversary as friends and Sabri was gonna ask Lindsey a question that could entirely change that for the better or for the worst.
Lindsey kept flirting with her all the way until the movie started. The first scene was already gory and made Sabrina jump. Lindsey noticed and burst out laughing everyone around them concerned. " FUCK YOU" sabri murmured under her breath. Lindsey apparently heard it because she pat her head and pulled her closer whispering "when and where" in her ears.
This was going to be a long movie.
After the 2 hour 6 minute movie was over the whole movie theater got up and left. Lindsey had ate all the popcorn and Sabrina was still sound asleep on her lap. Linsey removed some hair from the girls face scared to wake her up. "Wake up darling"
"DO YOU WANT TO MARRY ME?" Sabrina jumped up and screamed on accident... oops maybe that part was supposed to only be said in the dream. In any way
Sabri scrambled... " you see i was with jungkook and - it doesn't matter"
She seemed so unnatural usually she was never nervous nor scrambled. 'now i'm making myself sound like a Y/n This is my last straw why can't i get a single word out right' She took a big sigh and smirked like usual
Before Lindsey picked up the popcorn Sabrina grabbed her hand and pulled her up. "Beautiful i have something to ask you...." Lindsey stayed quiet giving her the time to ask the question. The short girl quickly stood down to one knee and took a hand.
" Will you make me the happiest person and give me the right to call you mines??"
"THATS FOR PROPOSING STUPID NOT TO ASKING HER OUT" Ashley yelled from behind the curtains.
"BABAHHAHA I CANT WITH YALL"
Sabri turned and gave the curtain a póker face while turning her head back to admire lindsey and laughed with her.
"YES OF COURSE MY LOVE BUT PLEASE SAVE THAT FOR MARRIAGE"
I jumped up from excitement and kissed her when i did so. This. This was what i wanted the whole time.
...
"So that's how it happened"
Lindsey was sitting on a chair on the beach next to Sabrina.
"Glad that is how it did happen if not i would have never spent the best 65 years of my life with you but honestly i wish I would've saved the stance for marriage"
Their Grandkids laughed while linna (sabrina and lindsey) hands were intertwined and smiles matching. maybe that 2 hours and 6 minutes were worth it.
