George looked around the street, scanning the buildings before motioning Skeppy to come out of hiding. He looked around cautiously before running over to George.
"Where do they usually sleep?" George signed to Skeppy
Skeppy looked around before pointing to the building just outside of the marketplace. George nodded before pointing to a booth. Skeppy nodded and they both ran quietly to the booth.
They began to search inside, rummaging through the market booth. George turned to Skeppy and shook his head before pointing to two different ends of the market.
Skeppy turned back to George, shaking his head frantically "No, we're too close." Skeppy whispered, "They know you're here."
"We have no choice," George signed "We need the supplies."
Skeppy looked at George for a few seconds before he sighed.
"Okay, fine," Skeppy whispered, "But I'm keeping my eyes on you the entire time."
George nodded and signed "Understandable."
Skeppy rolled his eyes and they both took off in different directions. George ran off towards a rather large booth, near the back of the market.
George had been to this booth before, it was pretty stocked the last time he had gone out for supplies, but he wasn't sure if there would anything would be left, considering that the infected were camping in the nearby buildings.
George had just begun to look through a large crate when someone grabbed his shoulder.
"Would you look at what we have here?"
George's blood froze at the voice, his hand inching towards his pocket knife.
"Fight back and I'll kill you where you stand."
George let out what sounded like a growl before he moved his hand away from his pocket. He heard what sounded like some sort of screech before he heard a pair of footsteps walking over.
"Check out what I found."
George was pulled from the booth and thrown to the ground.
"Take the damn hood off you stupid fuck, I wanna see who they are."
George's hood was pulled off, revealing his mess of brown locks, but he kept his head down. He wouldn't give them what they wanted. Before he could react, one of them grabbed his face and tore off his mask. George finally looked up and came face to face with the infected.
"Why hello George."
George glared up at the two infected that stood in front of him, wearing his friend's faces. One of them, wearing a smile, the other a straight face.
"Dreams gonna be happy to see you."
