It's easy to feel alone,
When everyone waves farewellUnrelated but of similar tone,
I lost my mademoiselleA feeling brews inside me,
Unique but similar to the lastAs if I had sixth sensory,
I knew a depression would be castI wave back to my lover,
Not a single thought gone strayI don't wish to find another,
I don't want to wander awayYou can take a horse to water,
But you may not make it drinkYou can leave a boy a tauter,
But you may not stop him to thinkI can sing to you over hills my affection,
But you mightn't hear my callI can look into my own reflection,
And remember you all in allYour perfume has stained my nose,
And your beauty my eyesBut Lord as my witness despite your oppose,
My next words mightn't be a surpriseIf you may, please oh please do,
Rip out the heart that beats for youBecause then, just maybe then,
You'll understand my love, is beyond that of menI am not your friend, a stranger, or a foe,
I'm the lover that you never got to knowMaybe I can show you,
A promise that was trueThat love is not a word,
But any other is simply not preferred,Watch you I shall not, watch over you I may
whether it's cold or hot, whether it's night or day.You may think you've left me
That our embrace is in the pastBut I promise you dear, dearly
That our love is meant to lastI won't give up, but I promise you, your tail shall not lead
I will not dictate, for your life isn't of my greedHowever I will wait, and follow my gut, that doesn't take me anywhere at all, because every time I pick myself up, I see you and I fall.
