Abir..... Mishtii... Come down for breakfast.

Arrehhhh....

Abir replied in most depressing tone of his. And looked at me with his puppy face.

Come lets go we are getting late.
Saying this she gave me quick kiss on my lips went to grab her bag and stuffed her essential things in it.
I also collected my files and we together went downstairs .

Everyone was infront of idol and maa was doing the aartii.

Is there any specialty maa doing too much aarti and prayers.

I looked at mishti who was trying her best to look as if she concentrating harder. I only knows what is running in her head . As we are most desirable atheist couple of this house.

I literally stared her when I heard the noise of clearing the throat.

Ketu setuu.

She gave me teasing smile. I glared at her and know what my bee was smiling at us .

The courtroom buzzed with anticipation. The stakes were high, and everyone present could sense the gravity of the situation. Avinash Mishra, the main suspect in a high-profile murder case, was due to be brought in shortly. My team and I were prepared, having ensured every detail was meticulously managed.

I glanced at my watch. It was almost 11 a.m. The atmosphere was tense, and the press was eager for any morsel of information they could get. As I prepared for the upcoming hearing, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something wasn’t right.

My phone buzzed with a message from Jatin. “Sir, we have a situation. There’s an attempted breach in the security perimeter. Some of Mishra’s men are trying to create a diversion.”

My heart raced. “Damn it,” I muttered under my breath. I immediately dialed Jatin.

“Jatin, what’s happening?” I asked, my voice tight with urgency.

“It looks like they’re trying to create chaos to free Mishra. We need backup immediately.”

“Hold the line and keep me updated. I’m on my way,” I replied.

I rushed out of the courtroom, heading toward the security control room. The situation was deteriorating faster than anticipated. I needed to act quickly to prevent any breach and ensure Mishra’s safe arrival.

Meanwhile, Mishti was finishing up her work at the office. The press conference had just concluded, and she was about to head out when her phone buzzed with a message from me. “Mishti, there’s an urgent situation. Please stay safe and avoid any trouble.”

Worried, Mishti looked around her office and decided to head back to the newsroom to check if there were any updates. As she walked, she couldn’t shake the feeling of unease.

Back at the courthouse, Jatin and his team were dealing with the disruption. They had successfully contained the situation outside, but the delay meant that Mishra’s transport was now under extreme scrutiny. The courtroom had been temporarily evacuated for safety measures.

I was pacing the corridor, trying to stay calm. I caught sight of a familiar face in the crowd—Nishant, one of our field reporters, who was frantically trying to get through the chaos.

“Nishant!” I called out, waving him over. “What’s happening?”

“Abir, it’s a mess. There are rumors that Mishra’s men are inside the courthouse, trying to locate him. They might even be planning something drastic,” he said, his voice filled with concern.

I clenched my fists. “I need to get back inside and ensure everything is under control.”

Just then, my phone rang again. It was Mishti. “Abir, I’ve just heard some alarming news. There’s talk of an attempted attack at the courthouse. Is everything okay?”

“Mishti, stay away from the courthouse. It’s not safe,” I said, trying to stay calm despite the rising tension.

“I’m fine. I’ll stay put, but you need to be careful,” she replied.

I hung up and quickly re-entered the courthouse. The security team was on high alert, checking every corner. My mind raced as I tried to anticipate Mishra’s next move. It was then that I saw a suspicious figure trying to blend in with the crowd.

“Security, over here!” I shouted, pointing out the individual.

The security team moved swiftly, apprehending the person and discovering he was carrying a concealed weapon. The plot to disrupt the hearing was becoming clearer, and the threat was more immediate than ever.

Inside the courtroom, the tension was palpable. Mishra was still in custody, but the delay had caused anxiety among the legal teams and the press. I had to ensure that he remained secure until the hearing could resume.

My phone buzzed once more. It was a message from Mishti. “I’m heading back to the office. There are rumors of further disturbances. Please be safe.”

I sighed, knowing that Mishti’s safety was as crucial as Mishra’s. I needed to focus on resolving the situation while ensuring that no harm came to those I cared about.

As I managed to regain control over the courtroom situation, I received another update from Jatin. “Sir, we’ve secured the perimeter and neutralized the immediate threats. Mishra’s transport is ready, and we can proceed with the hearing.”

“Good work. Make sure we have every angle covered. I’m heading back inside,” I said, hanging up.

The courtroom was slowly being re-opened, and the hearing was set to resume. I glanced at the clock—it was nearly noon. I hoped the day would turn around and that we could proceed with justice being served.

As I rejoined the proceedings, I couldn’t help but think about Mishti. Her safety and our relationship were always on my mind. The day had tested our resilience and our ability to handle crises, but we would face it together.

The unexpected turn of events had certainly shaken things up, but as always, we’d find our way through the chaos. For now, the focus was on ensuring justice and keeping everyone safe. And with Mishti’s unwavering support, I knew we could handle whatever challenges lay ahead.
