Chapter 4 Mr. Xei and Lander

Victoria's POV

As I woke up with the blurred vision trying to adjust my sight and first one I see is the white ceiling, I roam my eyes around the room and see the two man sleeping soundly.

I move my hand and remove the dextrose and rubbed the part when the needle was been injected, I quietly got up from the hospital bed and go to the window.

It feels like I slept too long to feel this dumbness and feeling so weak at the same time hungry, I'll just wait for them to wake up.

I'm too lazy to buy my own food and besides I haven't seen my clothes around the room and I don't know what the hell did they do to my clothes also I don't have a cash that's why I don't have any choice but to wait.

"You're awake." I almost forgot to breathe when I heard his husky voice.

I am not that dumb or denial to not consider my feelings towards him, I felt the spark when I first saw him, and got hurt at that same day.

I smiled bitterly when I remembered that she has a girl but who cares right? They aren't still got married so we cn still be together.

I turned around and smiled genuinely at him.

"Ah yes, just a minute ago, who the hell is this man don't you know him?" I ask him curiously.

He looked at me like I am some kind of alien.

"Are you kidding me? This man is with
me for almost a week! And he said he is your boyfriend and wants to know if I will not harm you like what the eff, if it's not for your grandpa I am not actually go here." He hysterically said.

I stiff for what I heard, I almost let my guard down.

"Oh uhm, I don't know who is he, and I'm not his girl or anyone. I-Im single." I said and look away.

"What's with the noise? Are you guys lost your manners? Don't you see I'm sleeping? Ugh!"

"Hey mister! Why are you here, and who the hell are you?" I coldly said.

"Oh right! I forgot to thank you for risking your life to save me, don't you remember me miss gorgeous? I am the hottest man that night in the bar." He said with full of confidence.

I rolled my eyes.

"Hell! I don't know what you are talking all I know is someone wants to kill you, can you tell me what did you do? or have you done bad things to them? did you bully them?" I curiously ask.

"Wait before answering, have you eaten anything?" He ask.

"Uhm. Actually not yet, I am waiting for you guys to wake up so you can buy me foods, come on I don't have a clothes." I said and puppy eyed to them.

They both look away.

"Alright. I'll buy us a food." Mr. Xie said.

I smiled happily and nod.

"That's great!" I said and sat down beside the idiot.

After Mr. Xei left, I looked at him seriously.

"So what now?" I ask him again and crossing my arms and legs,

"First let me introduce myself, I am Lander Palermo, just call me Lander." He said and lend his hand.

I take it and we shake hands.

"That day the man who tried to kill me is one of the assassin of Underground Society, they wants to kill me because I have something that someone wants to claimed it."

I didn't say any word so he sighed and continue.

"But sadly the thing that they want is here." He seriously said while pointing his head.

My brows furrowed fir what I heard.

"What do you mean?"

"Let me say that I heard something like a sauce that will surely be a great ingredient to a food so it will taste delicious." He said and smirk.

"Aren't you scared? You looked weak for me." I said while looking at him from head to know while raising my eyebrow.

He just laughed at me.

"Oh god! Haha, you are the first one who said that I am weak, hell." He said and smiling like an idiot.

"Actually I am really weak so I need to stay beside you to protect me."

"What? That's a no, no, look I almost got killed because of you do you want me to be killed under your name? Oh come on if my grandpa will heard he will actually beat you to death." I hysterically said and totally not agreed to his plans.

He became serious again.

"Look, after you helped me there, do you think you're safe now? Dear, they will actually hunt you down after killing one of their assassins, besides they are not just a enemy, they are the living demons who will make your life a literally hell." He said it in a very serious tone.

Well he doesn't know that I am the leader of the legendary assassins so I just smiled at him genuinely.

"Thank you for worrying about me but I can handle myself, if you are in trouble just call me and I got your back." I said and reach his hands.

"Ehem, are you both having a moment? I got the food."

We look in rhe door and see Mr. Xei looking at me coldy his dark eyes.

"Lmao, we are not havinv that kind of moment actually we've got a deal so you don't have to be jealous." I said and touch his broad chest while smiling at him seductively.

He look at me and I see something like a desire?

Oh come on self, he already had a girl and you are just trying to pissed him off.

I get the food on his hands and sat again.

I hungrily grab the food as if I didn't eat for a year.

They both look at me like I am some kind of a monster who's eating is prey aggressively.

"What? don't you want to eat your foods? If you don't want it can I have it?" I coldly said.

"Ah you can take mine Ms. Gorgeous." Lander said and gave me his food.

"Okay, thank you Lander."

Third Person's POV

After they eaten Mr. Xei gave the paper bag to Victoria so she can changed her clothes.

While Victoria is in the bathroom Mr. Xei approach Lander.

"What do you want?" He ask him in a serious tone.

"Protecting her, after she helped me there, they are going to kill us both."

"He doesn't need you, she can handle herself."

"You sounded like a jealous man." Lander said while smirking.

"Oh come on, I already have a fiancée."

"Oh you got a girl, but you love someone else, oh men you're fucked up."

"Shut up men or I'll punch you, you don't know anything." Mr. Xei said and walk out to the room.

"Oh, where's Mr. Xei." Victoria ask.

"He walked out I pissed him off." Lander said and laugh.

Victoria shrugged her shoulders.

"Weirdo." She said and walk out to the room.

"Hey wait for me!" Lander said and catch up with her.

"Go home idiot!" She said while raising his middle finger.
