Chapter 16: The Attack💌

Following up to the location, Ishwar drove madly on road, honking up every vehicles that coming up on his way.

His mind felt scared thinking up Maya who being in danger situation because of him.

Reached an abandoned property, he moves slowly to the entrance which looked so old and rusty. Silence echoed his footsteps, strangely with few voices. He turns to saw 2 masked man dragged Maya with them. She looked half concious and she couldn't say anything as her mouth shut with tape.

"..Maya!".. he run towards her but quickly tackled by a guy. Ishwar fell down on hard surface, giving him pain throughout his body.

",,Just leave her alone!"..Ishwar grabbed his gun which he kept hidden in his shirt and he point it to the culprits.

"..Ishwar..Ishwar...now her death is on your hand...How about put your gun down or else your sweetheart will gone.."..Ishwar could see a devilish smile behind the stranger mask.

He felt as if he knew the voice but couldn't remember who was it. By slowly leaving with no choice, he puts down the gun.

Maya who were there could see and hear everything by her half consciousness. She knew Ishwar was there with her .

"...Who are you?!..I will do anything..just leave her..."...Ishwar shouts madly to them.

"...How about ...say goodbye to your angel.."...his maniacal laugh spread wickedly as he pulled the trigger towards Ishwar.

BANG!

The gunshot echoes the place..Maya begin to struggle in tears seeing Ishwar in pain and blood.

He fell down weakly, losing his concious in defeated ways watching his girl struggle.

The hope were gone..Maya lost her hope..at the moment.

"Maya"..within second someone touched her shoulder, the warm voice brings her to present.

"..Maya..".... "...Maya.. do you hear me?.."

Back to Present - Continues From Hilltop Scene ( Previously on Chapter 7 )

"...Maya..do you hear me..?"...she turns to the voice to saw Ishwar standing there in pitch dark hilltop. He looks at her confused what she were doing at that place as it was already late night.

"...Ishwar what you doing here...?"..

"...I supposed to ask that question to you Maya...it's already late what you doing here..I called but you not even pick up my call..."...she remain silent, tighten the hold of her diary in her hand.

"..What book you were holding ?"...he tried to see it but she quickly moves it closer to her chest.

"...En diary...I remember everything but......"...

Maya looked at him as she remember everything but it seem as not true. The hilltop night air swaying cold breeze towards her face.

Ishwar turn surprised when heard the word from her.

"...You remember everything..?.."...he asked her in doubtful tone..

"...Ama...yenn?...You not happy about it?..."...

"...No..I'm glad Maya but come we go home first...Its late night..."...his stern voice gives her chill .

"...Seri..."...she grabbed the book and her keys while he waits for her near his car.

"..Maya en car le polam...you leave your car here ...tomorrow I will bring back.."..he told her before she moves to her car.

"...But Ishwar why?...It's ok I will drive my car and ..."...he quickly cut off her talk and grabbed her to his car.

"...Try to understand Maya..It's not safe for you to drive back alone in this night ..."...he shut the door of her side and start up the car.

She confused to see him acting weird and his mood have changed into something that were not him.

Felt a strange feeling through her heart , Maya decided to make herself quiet without any conversation.

Within half of routes, the speed of the car have started to increased strangely. She looked at Ishwar who were remain expressionless through the chaos.

"...Ishwar lessen up the speed!..What you doing??..."....she shakes him up but he ignored her and continues to increase the speed.
