The unfortunate thing is that there are actually parents who do crap like this. They'll have a black sheep child and golden child. They'll pay all their attention on the golden child and just have the black sheep their to take any blame if the golde...
My parents never gave me any type of encouragement... I'm Tsutsuji.
For instance, when I did my first back-hip circle in kindergarten. Tsutsuji: "Mom listen! I did my first back-hip circle today!" Mom: "Uh okay, and?" Tsutsuji: "H-Huh?" Tsutsuji: "Um.. I practiced really hard with Mr.Tokusa! And I was the first one in class to..." Mom: "Ah, okay, okay I get it." Mom: "It's not going to help you in life. Stop going crazy over something so useless!" Tsutsuji: "U-Useless..? This is useless?!"
And when I got first place on field day.. Mom: "First place? The others were just slow! And you let them come so close what a shame..." Tsutsuji: "Sorry..." Dad: "Yuri! Great job! (Yuri is her older sister) I got it all on tape!" Yuri: "But daddy, I came in second place?" Dad: " That doesn't matter! As long as you tried! Dad: "I made you lots of chicken and riceballs, your favorite right?" Yuri: "Yes, awesome!"
Around this time I started to notice, my family was very different from other families. Yuri got a 90 and they praised her meanwhile I had a 100...
In elementary school , my envy towards other families grew stronger, but... Dad: "You're my daughter, you should get a 100, no questions asked! Stop telling me every time you get a 100, get back to work."
My parents were as cruel as usual, but i never gave up! I wanted to get their attention... So I won a prize at a calligraphy contest, I also won an essay contest hosted by the city, I even won top 3 in the school marathon, I worked really hard on all sorts of things. But my parents... they didn't change one bit. Mom & Dad: "If we praise you you'll just get carried away!" It wasn't true, I just wanted them to say "Good work!" for once...
And when I was in my second year in elementary school, they had my baby sister named Yuzuriha. I was worried she'd go through the same thing my parents did to me, I was completely wrong.
Yuzuriha: "Look, I drew mommy and daddy!"

Mom & Dad: "Wow Yuzuriha-Chan! You drew this all by yourself, let's frame it!" Tsutsuji: "What about mine Mom and Dad? The one I got a prize for?" They drowned my little sister with praise... But with me... Mom & Dad: "We won't be needing that. Just throw it out already." I ripped up my drawing in sorrow...
But one day they just abandoned me and gave me to my grandparents, meanwhile keeping Yuzuriha, but Yuri nowhere to be found...
