They went off to the shop. It was about a few buildings down from the outskirts, and around the corner from there. Some other Watch members were there, working on sealing up some holes. Raymer saw them come up, as he was outside the shop, helping out. He waved them over.
"Are they gone?" He asked.
"They're gone." Wymer replied. "Wouldn't have been able to do it without Cloud though. Thanks again for that, Cloud."
"Not a problem." Cloud told him.
"C'mon Cloud. I got a few things for ya." Raymer invited.
"Alright." Cloud accepted.
"See you later, Cloud. Thanks again."
"Again, no problem. Good luck with the clean up."
Cloud went into the store. It was a normal place. Shelves along the walls and some in the middle held various items, but behind the counter, in the back left corner, with the door being on the right of it, were some more valuable items on shelves, and likely in drawers in the counter. It was mostly wood, with a few metal plates and some grey plaster. Raymer opened a partial door there, and went behind the counter. He opened a drawer there and took two items out of it. One was the blue straps Cloud asked for, with polished metal buckles. The other was a Materia orb, looked to be a wind Materia judging by it being a light blue with a grey swirl in it. That's one that The Merc didn't have one of, neither did Zack. He was able to use one briefly, but not enough to get it to sync to him or really explore what it could do.
"I didn't know what all you needed, but I saw you had Materia orbs in that sword of yours." Raymer remarked. "So I figured you'd get the most use out of this Materia. However, you can grab any four items here, free of charge."
"Thanks."
Cloud was a little uncomfortable with that offer, as he didn't like getting free stuff when he helped others, but... he could get two items for the prosthetics and for Masika. That way, he wouldn't be using it on himself. The two things he needed still were screws to connect them, and, for the end, paint brushes. He would ask if he could get his paints here, but they wouldn't have brushes, so he would get some here. The other two, he could get some things for Masika, like bowls. He picked up a cheap, but good, set of brushes, and a bag of pretty good screws. It wasn't the exact ones he's used, or seen used, in the past, but they would work. Then that left two items for Masika. He decided not to get a leash, as she had a really good recall, and wouldn't go far from his side anyway, and he could easily make a collar for her. He picked up two blue ceramic bowls that he would probably write Masika's name on.
"The bowls count as one." Raymer told him. "So you can still get one more thing."
"Alright." Cloud then went to look over the dog beds.
"You getting a dog?"
"It was a surprise. Wymer and I dug a dog out of the rats' nest. She was known as Mosaic, but... but she was actually my dog from when I was a SOLDIER. Gina's taking care of her, so I'm just thinking of getting a few things for her."
"Ah. Well, in that case, I'll throw in at least three toys with the bed."
"Okay."
Cloud did feel uncomfortable with that again, but reminded himself that it wasn't for him, it was for Masika. He quietly started looking through the toys, thinking mostly about longevity. As he looked, Tifa and Marle walked in.
"Afternoon, Raymer." Tifa greeted, not seeing Cloud. Marle immediately saw him and came over with a smile. It was returned, with a half smile. He noticed that Raymer turned slightly flirty with Tifa, however, he wasn't bothered at all by it.
