MHA One Shots

The New Kid

It's your first day at UA. You've transferred in from a different Hero School. Your quirk is collection, a quirk that collects quirks. If you look into someone's eyes, you get their quirk. You can use them anytime, and they don't go away. Downside is, if you look at too many people too quickly you will pass out. You're always wearing sunglasses so that you're not looking directly into people's eyes.

Aizawa:
"Good morning class, please take your seats, today we have a new student and I would like you all to welcome them."

You stand at the front of the room, looking down at your feet.

Aizawa:
"Y/N tell us a little about yourself."

You nod and begin,
"My name is Y/N and my quirk is collection, and I'm transferring in from Ketsubutsu Academy."

A kid in the back of the room raises his hand, "Can you tell us a little bit about your Quirk?"

Aizawa:
"Not right down Midoriya, Y/N take your seat. Let's get this day started."

As the day goes on, people start to pass you notes, stop you in the hall, or whisper to get your attention:

Yuga Aoyama:
He stops you in the hall on your way to Present Mic's class. "So new kid, I love your sunglasses, where did you get them?" You blink, nobody has ever asked that about the glasses before. "Uhm, I don't really know, my mom bought them. I can ask her if you'd like?" He smiles, "That would be lovely, I think they would be a wonderful addition to my dazzling personality." He sighs and enters the classroom.

Mina Ashido:
She whispers to you leaning over her desk, "I'm Mina Ashido. Wanna sit with us at lunch? I'll make the boys behave!" You give her a slight smile and nod, "That's really nice. Thank you."
Lunch
You follow Mina to her table where she introduces you to Bakugo Kirishima Sero and Denki. "It's nice to meet you guys, thanks for letting me sit with you." Bakugo shrugs, "Tch, whatever extra!" Mina noticed you look confused and said,"Ignore him, he's always like that."

Tsuyu Asui:
She passes you a note, Hi, I'm Tsuyu Asui. You can call me Tsu. You look over at her and she gives you a little wave. You wave back with a smile.

Tenya Iida:
Tenya catches you after class, "Hello, My name is Tenya Iida. I am the class representative, it is my duty to make sure you are comfortable here in Class 1-A. If you need anything please, don't hesitate to ask." He's a little intense but you smile anyway, "Thank you Iida, I will be sure to let you know. Its all a little different from my last school, but I'm sure this will be the one." He seemed confused but before he could ask, the bell rang for the next class to start.

Ochako Uraraka:
You're out on the practice field for All Might's class. "Y/N, you and Uraraka are partners for this exercise. Your opponents are Iida and Ojiro. The goal is to either get both opponents out of the circle, or make them give up." She looks at you with a determined huff, "We can do this! Iida's quirk is is leg engines, he's really fast. Ojiro is good at martial arts and has that big strong tail." You nod in understanding. "Start!" Iida runs towards you and tries to push you over the line. You go to use a quirk, but suddenly he's floating. You grab his shoe like a balloon string and set him over the line. "Release," Uraraka touches her fingers together dropping him to the ground. You see Ojiro coming up behind her and block his hit. You use his forward momentum to flip him out of the circle. "Looks like Y/N and Uraraka win this round! Congratulations kids, great job." All might says. "That was so cool!" Uraraka gushes. "No way! You can make people float! That was the coolest thing." You reply. The two of you continue to talk as you watch the other matches.

Mashirao Ojiro:
Ojiro comes up to you as you are talking to Uraraka about the match in All Might's class. "Hey, uhm, Y/N. That move was pretty cool, how you flipped me earlier." You looked up a little embarrassed, "Thanks, Ojiro. I learned that one watching Karate movies." You laugh and he laughs along. You invite him to sit with you and talk for a while about any other martial arts stuff you may have learned.

Denki Kaminari:
You are sitting at the lunch table with Mina on your right side and Sero on your left. "Hey, so Y/N, can I ask you a question?" The little blonde boy at the end of the table asks. "You already did dumbass!" The angry one said, looking past the poor red haired one in the middle. "Shut up Bakugo!" Mina said and you looked back to the blonde. "Sure ask away." His smile grew and he looked away for a second, "Well, how come you're wearing sunglasses inside?" He asks. You bite your lip trying to think of a good answer. "You don't have to answer him if you don't wanna," the red head said. "It's not that! I-I just have to figure out how I want to say it, is all." He laughed. "My quirk allows me to collect quirks from other people. If I look into their eyes directly I can use their quirk. However if I look at too many people or I use too many at a time I kind of pass out for an hour or so. I wear the sunglasses so I don't pick them up too fast." The blonde nodded slowly, like he was trying to process. "Oh okay, that makes sense I guess. So can you like use other people's quirks like forever, or..." The boy beside you cut in, "Denki, it's their first day man chill."

Eijro Kirishima:
As you sit down for lunch, the red haired boy across from you, held out his hand. "I'm Eijro Kirishima. Nice to meet you." You smiled as you shook his hand. "Y/N, nice to meet you too." You look down at your lunch, and laugh, "Looks like we match. Beef cutlets and rice." He laughs, "Yeah I guess we do, manly!" You saw the blonde one to his left roll his eyes. "Ignore him, Y/N." Mina said as you all started to eat.

Koji Koda:
He smiles meekly as you look over to him. Today math class is outside and Cementoss is going over how to measure a tree with a mirror and a shadow. A butterfly lands on the tip of your pen, and a paper falls into your lap. Hi, I'm Koda. Koji Koda, I had a bird bring this to you. Have a great day. You wave a little thank you and tuck the note in your pocket.

Rikkido Sato:
He notices you as you are moving the rest of your stuff into the dorms. "Hey, welcome to Class 1-A. I'm Rikkido Sato, I brought you a cupcake, I hope you like it." You smile taking the cupcake, "Aww, you didn't have to do that but thank you. I'm sure it's delicious." You took a bite of the cupcake and let out a mmm of delight, "It's amazing, you gotta teach me how to make them so fluffy one day."  You watched his face light up as he walked back down the hallway.
