"oh my god I never want to train again" you complained to Nobara.
"and to think that I was excited to trai-" you started throwing up again☺️

"ew that's gross, stop it" Nobara said in disgust.
"you think i don't want to stop?!" you yelled.

You heard someone coughing from behind you.
"you alright? Would you be able to train?" maki senpai asks.

"uh I don't think-" you started to say.
"Yes! She will train. She is feeling better now" Nobara started saying cheerfully to Maki senpai.

Maki senpai looked at you, who was still throwing up

You all were done with training and were resting there.
You saw Nobara coming back with clothes
'she wasn't here all along? Am I blind?' you thought.

Someone tapped on your shoulder. You turned around to see Maki San handing you water.
"thank you" you said while grabbing the water bottle from her hand.

"How was the training anyway?" Maki San asked.
"it was fine" 'ignoring the fact that I threw up a lot'

"What's your cursed technique by the way?" Maki San asks.
"it's throwing knives. Anything that my knife hits, will disintegrate." you replied.

"mhmm that sounds dangerous" Maki San said.
"yeah.." you replied awkwardly.

'why can't we have a proper conversation without me being so awkward and killing the conversation???' you internally cried.

"hey, what would you do if I die? Would you be sad?" Maki San asked you.

"eh? We're gonna die?.." you replied with a question.

"No we won't probably" Maki San said.

"but say. Hypothetically, if I die, what would you do?" Maki San asked again.

'Maki San doesn't seem like the type of person to ask questions like these.' you thought.

'hehe now is my chance' you thought and you took Maki san's hand and dramatically started fake crying and saying "you are an amazing person and important to me so I would probably cry a lot if you die" you fake sniffled.

You put Maki san's hands down.

"but i know that you won't die because you are really strong and if you aren't able to protect yourself I'll definitely come to you. That's what friends are for, right?" you said and saw that Maki San was looking straight into your eyes.

'wait what the heck did i just say-' you started to panic when you came to realization and thought it was kinda cheesy.

Maki San started snickering.

'well now she too friendzoned me' you cried inside wiping your nonexistent tears.
