chapter 1, The Runaway

A/n: pic above made by my best friend (Idc Erwin and Feieda are his birth parent so bite me if you have a problem with it) [also the pic above is not what he looked like as a kid,Gohan had blackish hair with blond tips were the red ones are at now he had two green eyes and no scars the pic above will slowly be brought to throught the story)

GOHAN'S POV:

I yawn as i wake up sitting up from my bed,i took a look around my plain room.I give off a sigh before thinking to myself, "i have been living in the same barn house as my new stepsister since she was born, she just turned 3 yesterday and her mom didn't even seem to care, though i have noticed that her mom wont give her the time of day at all but she treats me with such respect,but i guess that can't be helped after all i am crowned prince...."not happy"", I was then brought out of thought when i heard the mistress of the house yelling for me "Gohan dear breakfast is ready for you to eat". I get up from my bed heading to dresser as i yell back," Okay im gonna get dresses then i'll head down". as i grab a new shirt and a pair of pants i heard her yell an "okay dear!" i headed towards the mirror,i pull off my shirt revealing a branding mark on the right side of my chest it was in the shape of a crown i pay no mind to it though since its been there since i could remember i jusy put on my new shirt,I quickly changed i to my pants then i head out the door and down the stairs to the dinning room. "goodmorning miss" i sat down and then started eating my food going back into thought not listen for weather or not she said goodmorning back, "so i gotta pack my bag with two extra pairs of clothes,i should also grab one of the kitchen knives and maybe some of the apples to" i finish my plate and i startes to drink some water, " i will leave around midnight and hopefully i'll make it the underground entence by mid morning, i have a small bit of money that i may need to pay the military police to let me down there and then i'll begin hiding away so no one finds me". I close my eyes as i take a deep breath in standing up to put my plate and cup into the kitchen, i headed out the door to stay out side by the lake to hopefully pass time quicker.

TIME SKIP:

I sat up in my bed, it was about midight and everyone was asleep i quickly got up from my bed quitely running to my dresser grabbing my bag in the process i quickly pulled out two pairs of clothes shoving them into my bag, i then rushed out of my room and down the stairs to the kichen, i grabed four apples from the fruit basket off the table as i headed in, i then ran to the drawer where i knew the knives were being held, i carefully grabbed one of the medium sized knives and carefully stuck it in my bag along with the apples i closed it so i could then put it on my back. I then took off towards the door stoping to put my shoes on before taking one last look at the inside of the house,i quietly opened the door taking off towards the road and towards the underground and my new life.

TIME SKIP:

I've been running for about half the night none stop finally reaching the town near the entrance,i had slowed down my pace to a steady walk. It was early in the morning and the shops were just opening up i stopped off to the side to so i could grab an apple out of my bag real quickly, i then begin walking and eating my apple taking in the sights of the sky and happy go lucky. people, before i'll be remaining in the dark,damp underground with all the a lot of bad people that could and would kill me for a very long time, i really didnt plan on leaving  the underground i wanted to run and hide for now so thats what i did, i ran  i started running away from my responsibility as crowed pince i didnt want to rule behind some safe walls with gaurds, I wanted to help humanity in other ways and l wanted to expolre and to be up and close with the people. It was about mid morning now when i had arived at the entence i had finished my apple an hour ago, i grabbed my money bag taking one last look at the sky then looked at the entrence and i then startes to make my way in and down the flight of long stairs about half way down there were 3 military police conning money off the underground people who wanted to come up to the surface, but the M.P's made the price so rediculaly high so no one could aford it.They would pretend to check the money to see if you had enough but would just usally jusr say you didnt have enough and would then keep the money as payment for wasting their time,forcing you have to start all over again.As i make it to were the M.P's where one of them sees me smacking their partners shoulder "huh check this out man, what the hell do you think he is doing we dont get a lot of people coming down here excpecillay if its a kid" he chuckles as i stop to look at them dumb founded on how the highst regiment can be such royal pricks, "how much will it be to get in?" i ask knowing well that they just think of a price or say all that i got which was more annoying then trying to live a peaceful life. They laugh to eachother hearing me speak like that "hahah are you serious kid you do know people dont want to be down there so many try to come to the surface so why do you wanna go down there" i sighed getting quite annoyed with these three already before answering them "im gonna be honest with you guys, its my personal business and is none of your concern so take my money and let me through". They looked at me with a shocked face buy they then quickly turn their expression to a serious one again "yeah what ever kid give us all you got and we will let you go down or whatever just know you will need money if you wanna return back to surface", i hand them the money bag not really careing to come back up im going into hiding after all, "here's the money and yeah yeah i already know that nor do i really care", i brush past one of them roughly and i start walking back down the stairs again as i hear one of them screaming and cussing at me "Why you little shit head dont you know we M.P's........" it was getting harder to hear them yelling as i continue going down the stairs at a quick pase nor did i really care to be honest i wanted to get away i know it'll be pretty hard one i get all the way down but i'll manage i supose. I finally had made it to the bottom of the stairs taking a look around seeing all this crystal like substance that was in my opinion gorgeous to the untrained eye, i close my eyes so i could take a deep breath in but as i did so a group of people sood two feet infront of me "great im barley here for five minuets and im already surrounded" i had thought now more annoyed with this situation than the annoying M.P's from earlier, i had rolled my eyes showing my announce which seemed to only piss of what i could only take a guess as was their leader. The leader growled in anoyance before it looked like he had a idea which in my case could only mean trouble for me "not good im so screwed i cant get my knife in a secretive manner theu know for sure" i thought before i started to look to see how many there were and if i could find an escape route to get the hell out of here and further into the underground, i was brought out of my thought when the leader started to laugh "hahaha look at him he is so small i bet he would cry and beg for death in no time,oh my.....my.....my....i see your a smart one to,i can see your trying to find a way out" he chuckles my attention immeditly being brought to him as he said that,i finally got a good look at him he was a skinny but tall kid he seemed my age,he had long black hair with a deep red tips,his black hair was darker than my hair, mine was a lighter black with hits of blond and blond tips similar to the leaders red tips he had these blue eyes that held bad news behind them,he had a pretty large scar on his left eye and a large burn scar from part of his neck down disappearing under his shirt. I became very worried, what was this guy capable of, i was in a real bad position with no way out i had the stairs behind me and no opening in front of me either i was traped, "well boys should we teach this kid on the underground manners and take him with us, jesper and my underground property", the men that were there started laughing before answering the leader "Yes Jesper Sir!!" i tooking a big gulp knowing good and well that this was about to end really poorly for me amd i was not looking forward to this, The leader which now i know his name as jesper gave a very dark smirk "GET HIM BOYS" they all that started to run at me,I started to dodge them being small had its perk with agility i guess i then started runing after me i didnt see that jesper guy so i just kept running hopeing to lose these guys then get further into the underground but that did not happen,i was grabbed i had a one arm around the throught and the other holding me arm i tryed struggling to get free but i couldnt manged, who ever had grabbed me brought their head to my ear before speeking "my my my what a strong little pet your seem to be your gonna be very fun to hurt lets see if you survive" jesper nodded his head signaling to one of the guys,next thing i know was a guy started walking over to me smirking my eyes grew wide as i began to struggle again hopeing to escape before something happened but to my availe i could not, the guy had grabed my face bringing his one arm back curling his hand into a fist, jesper had let go of me and the guy swang his arm punching me in the face, I had fallen to the ground, before i had lost consciousness i heard their leader Jesper speak "let see if he survives and if he does ill make him my personal pet and ill groom him to perfection so i can have him take my place a leader" i heard him start to laugh again before i had completely passed out.
