Chapter 12 Here it comes! Sports Festival!

Cafeteria

Shiina: "So the order of the animals in the Chinese zodiac and the students last names were the keys to finding the VIP candidates!."

I was currently having dinner with Shiina and Ibuki, and reflecting on the onboard exam.

Ibuki: "Ryuen knew that... but why didn't he guess everything if he did?"

Ayanokoji: "I don't know. I had a chance to talk to him during the exam, and he told me he was only aiming for class A."

Ibuki: "Class A..?."

Shiina: "Did he fear that the other three classes might join forces in the future?"

Ibuki: "Certainly. If we were winning by ourselves, it wouldn't be surprising if the other classes banded together to crush us..."

Ayanokoji: "I wonder. He enjoys everything he does, doesn't he?"

Ibuki: "You've learned a lot about Ryuen..."

Shiina: "Did anything happen during summer vacation?"

Ayanokoji: "Yeah. I had a chance to play with him."

Ibuki: "How could you even think of playing with that guy..."

Ayanokoji: "Well, it just happened..."

Shiina: "Hmm. I want to be able to talk to Ryuen-kun too."

Ibuki: "Don't even think about it. You're going to get dirty."

Shiina: "Dirty? What does she mean, Ayanokoji-kun?"

Ayanokoji: "Well, that's..."
　　　(Don't look at me with those innocent eyes...)

Ibuki: "Here, here, eat quickly. Let's leave it at that."

Shiina: "Oh, that's right!"

At Ibuki's suggestion, Shiina eats her rice.

She is cute.

I couldn't help but want to poke at her swollen cheeks.

Shiina is not the assertive type, so she doesn't stand out too much.

I'm sure a lot of people will fall in love with her when she starts to stand out.

Kaneda would probably aim for Shiina...

I'm not giving you our Shiina.

A few minutes later, Shiina finished eating and we returned to our classroom.

The afternoon class was set for two hours of HR.

When Sakagami sensei arrived, he began to explain in an indifferent manner.

Sakagami "Classes have started again today, but in the second semester, there will be an increase in physical education classes during the month of September to the beginning of October, in preparation for the sports festival. I'll be handing out a new timetable, so please make sure you keep it in a safe place. I'll also be handing out materials about the festival now. The students in the front of the class, please pass the handouts to the back."

Some of the boys cheered and some of the girls screamed at the mention of the sports festival.

A few moments later, the materials were passed around.

Sakagami: "As some of you may have already noticed, this year's sports festival has adopted a system in which all grades are divided into two groups to compete. You, B class, have been assigned to the white group and Class C will be fighting in the white team along side you. Class C will be your ally during this sports festival."
