Perci POV.

Deep breaths Perci. Deep breaths. She started chanting like a mantra in her head.

She stood infront of a white mansion, still looking as pristine as it had when she left it. Oh god what if he's mad? What if he haves a heart attack? What ifs kept flying around her head, each one more terrifying than the other.

I've survived two wars. I can survive a husband who thinks I was dead for 5 to 6 years or so.
No I can't, Perci's mind whispered back at me.

I can do it.

Bracing herself, she entered the house, using the key she miraculously managed to not lose.

The scene infront of her melted her heart.

Bruce POV.

His lips twitched slightly as he listened to Tim tell a lame joke at the dinner table.
They were all sitting there eating thanksgiving dinner.

The Justice league, his sons and him and Alfred. Bruce caught Alfred's eye, a sad feeling passing through them simultaneously.

She would have loved this. More people sitting at our dining table than both of us and Alfred. Family.

He never moved on from her. Never. Women threw themselves at him but he never paid much attention to them.

She deserved so much yet she got so little.
But she was a hero.

Bruce snapped out of it when Alfred got up to serve dessert. Suddenly he heard a familiar clacking of heels.

Third POV.

The sound of heels clacking against the marble alerted people. Everyone stared at the person who was responsible for it.

There was a woman standing at the entryway. The first thing everyone noticed about her were her sea green eyes. Normal but abnormal. Powerful but tired. Happy but sad.

She was wearing a white dress with a leather jacket and ankle length boots with small heels. Looking like an angel and a warrior by the way she carried herself.
Her aura was a powerful one.

She was powerful. So very powerful.

A sudden clattering from Bruce's direction snapped them out of their staring and everyone looked at him as he just dropped his knife an fork, looking like he got the shock of his lifetime.

Bruce immediately stumbled out of his chair and stood up straight, eyes widening as if he couldn't believe what they were seeing. They all were amused to see The emotionless Bat looking as if he'd seen a ghost, including the woman.

Said woman shuffled nervously and scratched her neck.
"Hi?", she stuttered out.

Bruce flushed, from anger or another reason (she didn't know) stared in disbelief and stuttered, "Hi".

The woman chuckled a bit and said, "Still blushing around me, Batsy? I told you I'd find my way back home to you. I promised".

Everyone else was silent, scared of interrupting something that seemed so... ancient.

Bruce seemed to snap out of his disbelief and ran toward her, kissing her like a man thirsty for water in a desert.
She returned the kiss with equal vigor, hands wrapping around his neck like she couldn't believe he was there either.

Slowly they stopped kissing and stared into each other's eyes.

"But h-how? I thought you died!!", Bruce whispered in shock and concern.

"I'm Percy Jackson. I'm a survivor. I think you should know that by now Bruce", the woman said with a hint of confidence, humour but her eyes told differently, as if saying the words caused her physical pain.

Bruce looked just as pained but Percy noticed and put his hand on her heart and her free hand on his cheek and sternly but softly told him, "I'm here Bruce. Alive. And this time I'm staying here. For good."

Jason, becoming a bit impatient and curious about who Percy was, was about to voice the question everyone wanted to ask, when a loud crash of a tray dropping interrupted him.

Alfred was the cause of it, pale as if he'd seen a ghost but his eyes were full of disbelief, concern and a lot of happiness.

Percy smiled wide and ran toward him, hugging him like a daughter hugging her father. Alfred, a little shocked, slowly wrapped his arms around her as well, smiling just as wide.
"Mistress Persephone. It is so good to see you again!!", he exclaimed, his voice full of happiness.

"Alfred, I've told you to call me Percy a thousand times. And it's good to see you to. By the gods I missed you so much... Maybe even more than Bruce", Percy said, whispering the last part.

Percy turned to find Bruce sniffling a little and said, "Aww honey, don't cry. If you cry then I cry and my makeup will get ruined."

"You don't wear makeup. You hate it", Bruce deadpanned.

Percy rolled her eyes and whined, "For Hades sake let me have THIS!"

They both hugged one more time until Jason reached his limit and practically yelled, "Who is she and why are you hugging her????"
