you clearly don't get the message
not all of us are accepted
you'll never understand the history of our country
they country we've been taken from
and the only thing we've gained is a gun
a gun right through the skull
now we are lying on the floor
but that's okay because one day we will rise
and this country will be ours
because we shine brighter than the other stars
and its not just us that will rise
its everyone of a darker tone
knowing that we've been thrown like bones
to the vultures of this ugly culture

talking about police brutality again because no one gets the message. I know that this doesn't change overnight, but its not about one race. its about all the races that don't have fair skin. even though its not on the news that doesn't mean its not happening. WE as people need to stand against police brutality and anything that dehumanizes people. we all deserve the right to live in a world that treats people equally.
