River's POV
The new girl at our school was hanging out with Betty and Evelyn a lot. Was she trying to replace Kayla? . I felt like I wasn't important to anyone anymore. I was always the last choice. They would hang out without me all the time.

I think they didn't know that I knew. I missed them so much. What happened to the good old days? Why did everything have to change in 6th grade? Why. I had trouble sleeping and just thinking about them made me sad.
