the ideal life | crush x reader story

first day of school

you wake up to the sound of your alarm clock blaring. reaching over hitting the button to turn it off and then turning over. while enjoying your slumber, b/n (brothers name) comes into your room and all of a sudden your on the ground. you jerk up and realize he flipped you off of the bed.
"what the fuck dude"
"you needed to get up it wasnt my fault"
"oh my gosh just get out of my room"
"fine"
as he turns around you see the number 1 and l/n (last name) on his varsity football jersey. "asshole" you mutter under your breath as he exits your room. "who does he think he is? coming in here and waking me up...you know what, screw him im going back to sleep" you continue muttering before locking your door and laying back down in bed before slowly drifting off to sleep.
~ 1 hour later ~
you are awoken again but this time to yelling and knocking on your door. you quickly open your eyes and you recognize the yelling to be your mom. "Y/N L/N UNLOCK THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW! YOU HAVE SCHOOL AND WE NEED TO LEAVE RIGHT NOW" m/n (moms name) says. "shit" you say out loud. you quickly make your way to the door and tell your mom just to take your brother to school and that you will ride your skateboard to school. after your mom and brother leave you look at the time and realize that you will have to leave in 10 minutes if you want to make it to 1st period in time. you quickly put on a white tank top, baggy jeans, your socks and shoes and then tie a flannel around your waist. (picture at the top - if you dont like it you can change it <3) you sprint to your bathroom and quickly do your hair and brush your teeth and wash your face. you grab your bag and go downstairs seeing you have 2 minutes left. going to the kitchen, you grab the bread and throw a piece into the toaster. you get it out and run out the door grabbing your skateboard off the side of the house. you put on your headphones and turn on your walkman listening to music while riding on your skateboard.
-15 minutes later-
you arrived at school with ten minutes left to spare before your first period and automatically you see your bestfriend waiting for you by the front gate holding their skateboard. "finally your here! what took you so long?" bf/n (bestfriends name) says. "i just woke up late, but calm down i'm here now." you say. you both walk into the school and go to your lockers. (in this story you guys are sophomores and your brother is a senior) your lockers are right next to each other so you keep discussing different topics while grabbing your books from your lockers. and then bf/n brings up a topic "so...who do u have your eyes on this year." "nobody just like last year" you reply with a straight face. "well since i got to school a excruciatingly painful amount of time before you i got to listen to what everyone was talking about while they passed by me...and apparently there is a cute new boy" they say with a wink. "well then have fun with him then because i am not interested" you say giving her a smile. "your a pain in my ass" they respond.
"but you love me" you say
"your right" they respond with a smile
the bell rings and you say goodbye because you don't see them until lunch. on your way to math, you bump into someone and both of you guys fall down. they take off their headphones and start apologizing. you can hear their music playing through their headphones and hear the song "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield playing and you smile to yourself, that being one of your favorite songs.
"hey don't sweat it, i'm sorry too i bumped into you as well and that's a good song" you say with a smile.
"oh yeah i love that song! so what class are you headed to?"
"obviously the other direction since we bumped into each other" you say with a small laugh.
they also laugh and say "well my name is c/n (crushes name)"
"nice i'm y/n" you reply
"well we should probably get going to class considering that now we are late" they say
you smile and say bye while heading to your class.
