Hello guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while. I have been busy and I was on vacation but I am going to update because I am back. Anyways I am just going into the chapter. Let's begin!

NOTE: this one shot mentions the events of 9/11 but does it in a respectful manner. But I am putting it in the 16+ one shot book here to be safe. As such this may be hard to read. I do not endorse terrorism and I am respectful about the events of 9/11 so keep that in mind.

Narrator: It was a beautiful day in Adventure Bay. The paw patrol is helping the town of adventure bay out. It's been more relaxed recently though. Chase and Skye are dating and the same with Marshall and Everest and rocky and zuma. But something goes wrong for one couple and it will change the life they knew. Let's see which couple it was and what happened to cause this.

Narrator: Adventure bay, Georgia. 7/3/2020. July 3rd.

Ryder: Tomorrow is July 4th. I have to get my supplies ready.

Narrator: Ryder enters the garage and gets his gas grill and propane And grill tools including a wire brush, tongs, a grill spatula, cooking spray, instant and probe style thermometer, heat proof gloves and, a spritzer, forks, knives, red solo cups, and a fire extinguisher.

Ryder. Here we go I got my grill and grill related accessories and my propane and propane accessories. (Sorry for the lame king of the hill joke)

Narrator: Chase appears as Ryder puts the grill, propane and tools in the garage.

Chase: Hello Ryder sir? How's the preparations going?

Ryder: It's good. I just got the grill, the propane and tools and now we wait till tomorrow and then we cook.

Chase: This Is awesome. Hopefully tomorrow I will tell Skye that I want to marry her.

Ryder: Yeah that would be nice. Hopefully it will go well.

Chase: Yeah. Want to go outside and see Katie. I saw her outside as I walked in.

Ryder: Sure buddy.

Narrator: Ryder and Chase go outside and talk to Katie.

(July 4th. 0 days until the 4th of july. 7:30 am)

Chase: it's July 4th.

Skye: Yeah, happy 244th birthday America.

Rubble: We Get to have burgers and hotdogs and steak.

Rocky and Zuma: Rubble... bruh you really like food.

Rubble: I can't help it. I'm hungry a lot.

Everyone: Laugh.

Narrator: adventure bay. July 4th. 12:00 pm. Barbecue time.

Ryder: Ok it's Kind of hard to barbecue but I have Katie to help me. We are barbecuing hot dogs, burgers, steaks and corn on the cob. We made homemade lemonade and we even made a blueberry pie. We invited mayor Goodway and captain turbot and daring Danny x and Jake and Carlos and even farmer Al and farmer Yumi. This will be fun.

Narrator: the food gets complete and the pups and humans there eat and have fun and Ryder even confesses to Katie that he likes her. She of course accepts.

Narrator: 2:50 pm. After the party.

Chase: Ok I'm going to ask Skye to marry me.

(Chase goes to Skye's pup house but sees something that will change him. Skye kissing another pup he doesn't recognize.
