I knew my personal life had stopped after my father became famous. There is absolutely no privacy. I can't do anything without getting mobbed by the paparazzi. Each day I take my time getting dressed and trying to look nice. If my dad wasn't Sean Parker, the famous movie actor, I would walk outside with sweat pants, moccasins, an old band T-shirt, and my hair in a pony tail.
But no. There is no way I'll ever be a normal girl again.
I want to tell my father. I truly do. I'd only feel bad because he's worked his whole life for this moment, fame and fortune.
I want to escape this life, without devastating my father. The only way out is taking an un planed trip to the one and only, London.
I woke up the next morning with an extreme headache. I turned my head only to see my short haired cat, Apollo. I patted his back hearing him purr.
"Apollo, did Nathan kick you out last night?" I spoke in a baby voice hoping to keep him calm. He yawned in response.
"Nathan, Nora! Grandma and Grandpa are here." My mom walked up to the first landing on the staircase.
Already? It's only seven in the morning. I got out of bed and went into the shower.
"So come come on, you've got it wrong. To prove I'm right, I put it in a sooong!"
"....Everyone else but you! Baby you light up my world like nobody else, the way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed.."
"Noraaa! Shut up!" Nathan screamed.
"YOU DONT KNOW OH-OH YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR BEAUTIFUL!" I sang even louder to get Nathan annoyed.
"Ugh. When will you realize your singing hurts my ears?!" Nathan slammed his door, ignoring me. Even though Nathan always says that, it still hurts my feelings. I stopped singing and got out of the shower.
I grabbed an outfit I picked out the night before. It was a light hot pink shirt, letting one of my shoulders hang out, knitted black leggings, and combat boots.
I quickly braided my hair to the side, putting my glasses on. I felt too lazy to put my contacts in.
I didn't even bother to put make-up on, knowing I would only be with my family.
I made sure my window curtains were shaded, letting no paparazzi flashes seek through.
I rushed down the stair cases, eager to see my grandparents. I know I don't have long with them, considering they're both 92 years old. I took advantage of every second I had with them.
"Grandma!" My grandmother, Ella, was sitting on our mahogany chairs, chatting to my mother about collage.
"Nora, baby!" My grandma stood up, with the aid of her cane, and slowly started walking towards me.
When we finally met, my grandma gave me a huge hug.
"I've missed you!" My grandma brushed back her white hair.
"I missed you to, Grams."
My brother and I stayed home all day with my grandparents. We cooked supper for them and watched a movie. My grandparents live in Texas, while we live in California. If my father hadn't become a famous movie actor, who by the way is never home, we'd still be living in Texas.
The day flew by quickly. Soon my grandparents had headed off, back to their hotel.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay, Ma? It won't be a problem, we have enough guest rooms!"
"Oh no, Leanne. You need to spend time with Nora and Nathan. They'll be out of the house soon!" My grandmother kissed my mother on the cheek, saying goodbye.
"Alright. Just promise to call." Nathan and I hugged my grandparents as they left the house.
"Okay.. It's only seven, and Cole called.. Could I go over there mom? Please?" I quickly asked her.
Cole is my boyfriend. Since the eighth grade, we've been inseparable. We have our up and downs. No relationship is perfect. Cole is nasty when he drinks. He tends to hit. There's been a few incidents, but no one suspects anything.
"Sure.. But I want you home by eleven, considering its a weekend." I hugged her quickly, grabbed my stuff, and walked out of the door.
