Girlfriend zoned out. It was just another song after all.

She tried processing what was going on. Boyfriend was currently rap batting a military general. Her parents sent the two of them on a "vacation," and they ended up here.

She was being held at gunpoint.

Fucking gunpoint.

And her parents knew that a simple gun couldn't kill her, so were they really behind this? Did they intentionally risk their own daughter's safety to kill "some street rat" that they barely even knew?

Or was she overthinking this?

*****************************

Girlfriend's mom walked into her room. She rolled her eyes instead of pointing out that her mom didn't knock-as usual. She had gotten used to it.

"Hey sweetie, would you want to go on a little vacation with your-" Girlfriend's mom paused. "boyfriend-this weekend?"

Girlfriend didn't know what to say. Was her mom accepting her love?

"Uh, yeah, that would be great!"

"Alright, I'll schedule a private plane for you two."

"Does it have to be a private one? That seems a bit much for two people."

Her mom paused, a brief scowl flashing on her face. "Well, don't you want to spend some alone time? Just you and your boyfriend?"

"I guess you're right, but are you gonna tell us where we're going?"

"It's a surprise sweetie~"

*************************

Come to think of it, it was probably intentional. At least Boyfriend was okay. The music faded out, and Girlfriend decided to listen in on whatever was going on between the general and Boyfriend.

"God effing dammit! Well played, you little shit! But this is WAR! And in war... people DIE! Men, get ready to fire! Sorry, no prom for you this year, ha ha ha!"

Girlfriend realized that the general was commanding his soldiers to kill her and Boyfriend. She wasn't about to stand by and watch her Boyfriend die.

She was about to unleash her full power and teach these assholes a lesson, when she got knocked off of the speaker. She couldn't tell what happened, but at least Boyfriend was able to catch her. She hugged him as a thanks, then looked up at the speaker to see who threw her off.

It was Pico, wielding two guns, shooting the soldiers who held her at gunpoint just a moment before.

The general chuckled, "Ah, look who it is! Your sexually ambiguous, angry little friend! Now why the fuck did you shoot my men?"

Pico clicked his tongue, "Aww is the widdle Captain sad about his men going bye-bye~? And here I thought you said this was war? Now, I guess I should give an answer.. They were in my way, it's that simple. Now I might have to plant a bullet in your head if you don't scram."

The general scoffed, "I'm not gonna back down from some bitch like you!"

It was so quick. The second the general finished speaking, a bang sounded, and he dropped dead.

"Aww, such a shame. He actually seemed like a decent person under that 'Captain' facade."

Boyfriend tried backing away from Pico, but he noticed them. Girlfriend knew she couldn't do anything. It wasn't like she could attack a friend.

If I can even call him that...

"Now, I never said I was done, did I?" Girlfriend and Boyfriend froze. "Look, I'm sorry I had to pull a stunt like this so soon, really, but your parents wanted it, and I think it might be the best choice for all of us."

There was a bang. Girlfriend fell onto the ground, terrified, yet so pissed off by what Pico had just done. There was a bullet hole in Boyfriend's left shoulder, quickly spreading crimson blood on his white shirt. Blood ran down his arm as if it were a river, trying to find its ocean.

Pico smiled, but he was far from finished.
