Blue Steve's death

Blue's perspective

"I'll be with you forever. Goodbye rainbow Steve." As blue Steve said his last words, he gathered up all his energy and aimed it at rainbow Steve, using the last of his strength to merge with him. He felt his body dissipating, his mind and soul merging with rainbows until they were one. He disappeared, the last echoes of his voice a farewell.

Rainbow's perspective

I'll be with you forever. Goodbye rainbow Steve." Blue Steve called out from far above him. Rainbow readied himself to take on all of his energy, still upset at himself for not protecting blue Steve more.

As he said his last words, lightning flashed upon them both and everything was drowned in bright light. Rainbow felt a cool, tingling sensation surrounding him as blue Steve merged with him, their bodies becoming one, their very life force connecting. Then it was over and he stood alone on an empty hill, the sound of blue's voice fading. It was done, and rainbow, more powerful than ever, was ready to take on nightmare.
